First thing I did was cancel my pre-order and drop any expectations into a garbage bin when the combat was discussed as being similar to what they did with 15 (and I suppose KH3 eventually). 4+ years with no updates made it even easier to view that as a good decision. And now you have this horse shit about Sephiroth retconning the original game. Ah ha Nomura u so funny with REMAKE. Anything that faggot touches is garbage.

Ironically now he can at least say he didn't recreate 10% of the original game, as they'll apparently be able to do whatever the hell they want if they make another episode.

Don't compare FF15 and KH3 combat. KH3 was fun at least. FF15 was a snoozefest.

When is the next Dragon Quest game coming out? DQ11 was the best square game in 10 years at least. That team needs to be given the high profile games.

DQ has nothing too do with Square at all.. The whole DQ team are all from Enix day's and they've been together forever, Square's name is only there cause they bought up all of Enix..

12 Might still be awhile though, and will probably be only released on a specific system, sadly they are known for doing shit like that, DQ8 DQ9 comes too mind for that problem...

DQ has never really been embraced by the western world too. I mean DQ8 was really good, but DQXI was the first game that really.opened people's eyes.

Compared too Japan ya a different game over there vs what we actually get. I've been playing them sense first one though hah.

There are a ton of DQ Off-shoot games that are released Japan side we never get too see, including a Mobile game that's really fun too play(can be installed into US phones, but sadly there is no towns/monster nests on US soil lol)

Huh, for some reason I remember it being Enix that was the bigger shareholder in the merger, and they only used Square at the front because of how well known Final Fantasy was outside of Japan.

Anyway, will likely pick this up and check it out; I'm not nearly as enamored of the original as some folks are, as I think FF6 and FF9 were -way- better from a gameplay/story standpoint (until Necron....) and while that shit came out when I was in my teens, I remember a lot more about Xenogears than I do FF7. I liked 15 for what it was, but it wasn't Final Fantasy imo; this seems like they took that style and translated it to Final Fantasy. Might be a pretty enjoyable 30+ hours of gameplay.

Sure, you don't use Amazon. Most retailers offer free shipping with a lower price threshold (best buy, Walmart,...), or a membership (target,..). I also want to commend you for being a brave soul, good sir. Really brave for making such a poorly thought out post.

How are these related at all? One took a solid game and changed it so that it plays no longer like the original and half assed some art assets. The other ships goods to your house really quickly.

100% agree with you on that. If the remake at least had dq11 combat as classic mode I'd love it.

It’s always on sale so you should see that depending on platform. Last sale just ended on PS4 where I think it was 24.99
