So i've been noticing lately, especially the last dungeon I did, the iceheart one in the post ARR content near the knight dudes? these dungeons are becoming just long hallways. Does this trend continue through the expansions or is this just because this is filler content before the next expac? Don't get me wrong i'm not complaining, this was the first dungeon I was able to do W2W pulls in on my first run because I couldn't get lost.

The earlier dungeons seemed to have more paths/hallways/whatever, even if they really didn't, they appeared to have multiple paths so I was a little hesitant to pull big and take a wrong turn, get lost, turn around and discover my whole party went the other (correct) way and i'm stuck with 30 mobs hitting me or whatever.

Yes that trend continues, most(maybe all) dungeons from heavensward on are just straight lines.

In the last few xpacs even the pulls become predictable. 2 trash groups -> wall -> 2 trash groups -> wall -> boss. That cycle x3 is most dungeons.

As a tank of a number of years I didn't even know you could interrupt Dragon's Voice...
I had actually removed interject from my hotbar for ages because I'd used it many times and it never worked - so I thought it was a useless ability.
I had never noticed that some abilities had that flashing outline. It took someone in a dungeon giving me grief in shadowbringers about something I wasn't interrupting before I figured it all out.

interject made its way to hotbar 2 since it's very rare to see an ability I can use it on. I'm noticing the flashing outline more and more but its on super quick cast time abilities like buffs and basic attacks from trash mobs and there's no way I can activate it in time. Seems like any time a boss is using an ability i'm supposed to interrupt the cast time is more than 0.5s so i have time to react to it.

Any good money making tips? Have a Cul/Miner/Bot to 90. Crafting time vs profit atm seems really bad. Been selling Maps and other random things but for the most part cant seem to get ahead.

I've spent most of the game sub 500k gil until recently.

Those Materia Containers you get from exchanging seals to your Grand Company Quartermaster are generally full of garbage 300gil minions but the other day I snagged a Copycat Bulb which sold for 9 mil and yesterday I picked up a mount that sold for 300k. So, spam the shit out of level 50 and 60 instances with level sync disabled and exchange all those greens/pink/blues to your Grand Company guy for seals and use the seals to get the chests.

Submarines are slow starters (literally 3 months+ and a LOT of crafting) but great gil - I have an fc set up on NA and another on EU, each has 4 submarines, each submarine is approx 100k gil per day returns. I will gil cap later this expansion and I haven't done for-profit crafting since stormblood.

This is why you don't skim read posts, I already went over this in detail in a reply to you!

Dungeons get more linear but also more cinematic over time, some also get a raid boss at the end (like Snowcloak has the Shiva trial right after), usually end of expansion dungeons do this.

I have no idea what a submarine is. Will do research.

Did Bozjan ever end up making money? I went from never having more than three mill gil to 150 million+ selling logograms and random drops from Eureka back in the day. Got super lucky with /shiver though.

In my experience, the price on drops in those zones inflates when it is no longer current. It’s like a reverse bell curve - the best prices are right at launch and post-xpac when the zones don’t get much traffic anymore

All the Eureka logograms cost me a million when I did it around Endwalker launch.

Just handed in 150 Zadnor Lockboxes and got some items from Heavensward/Stormblood primals at best, seemed like pretty useless stuff. I would guess that given it's now the 71+ leveling zone, Bozja stuff will be oversaturated.

the final zone in eurkea is surprisingly good money. you can do these bunny fates and then a bunny follows you and play a hot and cold game. if you find the treasure it's ...i want to say 10k, 100k or 500k gill and a random item. the 500k guild box can contain a mount that sells for millions but it's rare.

still though. every 10 minutes or whatever you can get 10k/100k and watch youtube while you do it.

Ceto's Claw sold for about 70m at my time there. Wasn't spawned too often, which probably kept the price up. Once BA runs started getting bigger and bigger she was spawned even less.

Main highlights thus far

1) Yoshi doesnt want NFT in FF14
2) They plan to make a lot of the older content trust compatible
3) They are planning a major graphical update
