They pretty much glossed over the job changes in it, DRK is getting a life leach while in zombie mode to help not expiring. Definitely seem to be pruning some skills again too.
Looks like they lowered various animation locks too, NIN, DRG, and RDM mentioned.
More minor notes: ・忙しすぎるという声が多い竜騎士と占星術師は6.2を目指して議論中とのこと - Jobs that are deemed too busy like DRG or AST are currently under discussion from dev teams as well, so you can expect more changes for Patch 6.2 ・戦士にも調整はある WAR will also be adjusted. ・低レベル帯で暇すぎるというジョブに調整など Jobs at low level that are deemed too "empty" will also be adjusted for Patch 6.1 as well
Have to wait for the patch note readthrough on the 11th now.

It really wasn't, because besides during the lvling from like 50 to 60 or whatever it was, you would ALWAYS Kaiten, unless you were retarded. So it wasn't "on demand 50%", it was just the baseline, but every Iaijutsu required 2 buttons. They are rolling the dmg boost equivalent in the base potency(but not the full 50% because of the autocrit too, probably lower so the average is the same, you also gain kenki from not having to Kaiten so that'll be taken into account in the potency changes). Like you won't lose dmg, you just won't have to press the button everytime you iaijutsu. It will feel a bit emptier though for ppl who liked the higher APM but ultimately it added nothing to the class so makes sense it's removed.
The DRK change was what people have been asking for a long time, hopefully Living Dead won't be absolute shit now, you'll probably need some heals but if you can heal yourself for like 50% of your hp on your own that's gonna help tremendously with bad healer setups/no cds on healers and such. Expedience nerf makes sense, that skill was super busted. Will still be good but 10secs means you have to use it at the right time, the current one you just kinda throw whenever a mechanic is going to happen and you know it'll be up the entire shit. Hell it lasts so long you can do 2 mechanics sometimes, or the really long ones(like P4S phase 2 rotating tethers and shit). WHM buff looks nice too, being able to proc the bell instantly means it won't be a near dead spell on fights/phases that don't have repeated dmg like it kinda is now. If you timed it perfectly you could get good use, but you needed to time it like 15secs in the future which is pretty annoying with cactbot telling you exactly when the next mechanic is happening. With the new one you can just get even more aoe oGCD healing on demand. Great for stuff like P3S heal check after the eyes, don't have to think about it.
Overall looks like some nice changes.

Gardening completely skipped my mind, but yeah that makes some amount of sense. I figured it was more collecting pets and making pretty. Either way.
