Unlocked Scholar, damn it's fairly awful at soloing. Not that much worse than base Arcanist because of Cleric Stance, but still pretty awful, wish one of the 2 pets had an actual autoattack. Tempted to lvl THM to 15 and get Summoner as I assume it'd lvl faster.
Also in case people don't know, you get your combat chocobo at lvl 30. Go to Camp Tranquil in South Shroud, Docette gives you the Feisty chocobo quest or whatever, just need to go talk to the chocobo trainers in the newb zones and that unlocks it. You can have both the chocobo and the acn/smn/sch pets out too.

Honestly, it's pretty amazing to me that these assholes at SE could have learned so little since FFXI. They almost tanked that game before it even started with shockingly horrific design. Placing all the NA players at launch into 90% JP servers that had already leveled characters, and where they were treated like the plague, directly ruined that game for me at launch. It basically destroyed the whole game's plan of forced grouping for new NA players.
To see them stupid enough now to not even bother to implement a login queue for new players, but to simply lock all but a couple of servers...it truly boggles the mind. It's as if this corporate collection of fucktards has no idea that people play online games to...play with people.

So a game related question, where do you unlock the guildleve accumulation quest, I cannot for the life of me find who gives it by googling the webs. I should be able to unlock the accumulation but I have no fucking clue where it could be - I feel like a fuckin retard by all accounts this stuff should have been obvious after the level 10ish story quest?

It's the lvl 10 main story quest. Just do all the storyquests, they unlock a lot of important features. Also class quests unlock skills and access to other quests. Rest is more or less optional useless sidequests, with a few exceptions.

I guess what confused me was the fact that I had to start as a gladiator and they were bottlenecked by the fact their level 10 class quest is instanced. I kept expecting them to be unlocked by now. People talking about opening them by level 10 was confusing me.

All zoning is pretty messed up. Takes forever to zone, whether that be an instance or a city. Just tried to zone into West Than and got dropped with a 900000 error after about a minute. Starting to wonder now if they are going to credit early access players with time.

just a warning for people, I was finishing up my story quest in Vespah at level 28.
My character is now stuck, everytime I log him in he gets either 9000, or a 10102 error connection with the server was lost.
I assume I zoned into an instance that is down, and now it wont move my character to a safe location.
Disappointing.
