i just got booted from instance <5 mins ago. now unable to load list. seems they crashed
EDIT: maybe its just me my buddy still says hes on
- Don't do instances anymore, i did them all morning but the last one locked me out- 90k and 10102 trying to connect

Everquest went down for a month at launch. WoW had the same shit for vanilla with some realms being locked out completely.
Still no excuse for these guys, cause they could have tested an Open Beta better then 3 days...

I am going to open a "rent a server" store for all these cheap ass fucking companies that fail horribly and won't buy them out right.
So sad, i've been 2 boxing and 3 times since start up had both characters get locked out for extended periods of time. Hit 31 on my tank and just got the Warrior Job, and my THM is almost 31 and was about to start the BLM quest and it locked up. Grrrr says I, grrr.

Lol. Honestly thats the only reason this is happening they tried to cheap out. Bought some extra sushi and egg rolls when that money should have gone into servers for launch.

This isn't some little bug or server error. It would have been fixed yesterday. They didn't architect the player load correctly so now they are scrambling to fix it. Worst part is you can't order new hardware/network bandwidth in 3 days. So Tuesday is going to be a cluster f..

All of them. You are complaining about something that even Blizzard with all there money failed to do well.

You can always order new shit and have it overnighted. My hope would be that the shit they run on isn't so custom as it takes forever to spin up new servers. My guess is they just can't pay for it.

I think you mean 2012. Diablo 3 launch was a disaster at least on par with what's happening this weekend.
Funny I don't remember rift swotr or anything since wow launch having any type of problems like this. If blizzard launched a WOW2 right now I guarantee they wouldn't have problems like this anymore. It's 2013 man don't give them a pass for cheapening out. Their forums don't even work, its been hell trying to get everything activated with multiple keys and logins not working. Their site won't let people register half the time before it came out it goes on and on.
I want to know which engineer had the brilliance of combining all of NA and EU into one server cluster. It's terrible for rolling out maintenance, creates connectivity issues, and overloads the cluster.

Which seems odd as well - can't pay for it? The reason these issues seem to stem from is server load, meaning there are far more people logging in/playing than they had anticipated. With their history in the MMO space, don't fuck it up AGAIN because of something like this. The game systems are great, the game is great, etc - but seems silly to me to go cheap on something so critical to the success of your game. Again, is Japan having these same issues? If not, that should tell ya something about where the priorities are - and if I'm honest, it kind of worries me going forward. Red headed step children?!
