Are they actually doing anything during these times or just an overall reboot and then shit hits fan couple hours later again?
Just seems I've seen zero progress from these 4 emergency maintenance sets of hours.

On side note I'd definitely rather have a massive wait to login queue but once I was in actually be able to play and zone etc over them knowingly overloading the server infrastructure. I know people would rage over that also but it would be better than the past two days of everyone being fucked.

The sad part is, at this point we all know this won't fix anything. It'll let people get in one instance a piece before it all explodes again, just in time for the 5:30pm - 8:30pm maintenance window.

More than likely, you'll be able to play just fine since the servers will be empty. But come Tuesday, shit will be fucked up for a week since it's labor day weekend and Tuesday is launch day.

The issues are with their servers, policies, and account management. More than I can say about most MMO launches. Also, you white knighted more than I did.=P

I agree. Fuck all the apologists, this shit is simply unacceptable in 2013. This shit is up and don more than a whores head in the back of a cab.

But I work with Japanese every day so it does not really surprise me one bit. Their problem solving skills are lacking they have a hard time thinking outside the box and trying new shit.

I got up at 6am EST and started playing and it was fine for a few hours. I would think chances are with school starting etc you will be able to play during the week.

Oh yeah, I'm a huge SE fanboy, but this is shaking even my resolve. Not as much as 1.0 did, mind you, because this is just a mostly unavailable good game. 1.0 was a mostly unavailable steaming pile of dog shit.

The good part is that I've been able to take multiple 4 hour naps due to downtime

So next weekend is Labor Day weekend , everyone will be in including the non early access folks.

Predictions on how the NA-EU servers will be next weekend?

And will the excuse then be changed to "it's only the second weekend you shouldn't expect to play on the second weekend" ?
