From my not at all expert opinion, I'm going with the 1st. Especially since the colours under the torso are still reddish/yellowish where everything else is brown. I'm guessing that part was kept moist because it was under the body and didn't get a chance yet to dry into the dark brown colour. Also looks bloated. Do I win?

too small for human. either someone doing it as a joke. or dumb luck with stain. stain could be dead animal. waste.. wine. etc. moldy.

It's convincing except there's too little damage to the carpet. Direct stains, without spreading means you'd be peeling that fucker up off the carpet like a piece of gum, and you'd either need to cut it away, or leave some flesh behind.

I'm basing this either on my 14 years as a professional assassin or I'm simply talking completely out of my ass like the other 99% of the board and am too curious to let this pass along without a fucking answer.

I google reverse image searched afterward. It was not pretty, but I think it's legit. There are lots of other similar body-goo patterns to see

Yeah, I tinyeye'd it. If the story with the dog is true, holy shit. And yeah, I guess they did peel him up something awful, just hard to see the dent and hair from that picture.
