I dunno when I'm farming rokyl offhands for 100 dollars a pop and sometimes I can get 3 in one night, thats more excitement to me than killing nagafen on the third TLP in a row I've been on, lol.
but yeah to me instance raid zones kinda kills the "race" or "superiority of gear" on TLP servers, and I did the racing on ragefire pre-instance and some on phinigel so seems like insanity to do it again knowing dbg will just release another in a year. rather just make some money on the side will I focus on my piloting.

So are we riding under the Faceless Banner or Fires of Heaven or both happening at the same time? I'm going to be pretty casual until Fall and Winter. I have some time off but pretty well Work > Vacation > Back to work with a couple of days in between. I have it worked out though that I have some time off after launch but not the 23rd and 24th. Not sure what time they'll open the server gates.

We are cool with forum bros joining even if they just plan to play casually. Loot is done via dkp anyway so people get out what they put in.

I was really hoping that the launch was going to be the week after. I will be unable to sock with a perma group at launch because of work issues; however, I do plan on getting max level by week 2 and raiding etc. Do I need to sign up over at the faceless??

1-25 Tarnished weapons ( couple silver for sharpening stones )
26-41 Scalers
42-68 Lanterns
69-115 Skewers ( only if you have metal bits left from lanterns, use them then move to Banded Gorgets below*)
69-102 Banded Gorgets ( Buy Sheet Metal, DO NOT CRAFT IT** )
Think I hit 100 spending around 180pp on my Troll SK. (Bought sheet metal in FP with an enchanter I made just for that) I skipped skewers entirely.
*Making metal bits takes time and can have fails, skewer molds are much more expensive than Gorget molds)
**Making Sheet Metal costs more than buying it, and you can and will fail on combines.
