Did her company go under? That's a six month old story and I don't see anything in the news about Unleashed Games folding (unfortunately).
Oh didnt know that. Thats the bummer about youtube feeds, lol. The greater point is people are finally starting to backlash about this shit. And rightfully so.

The public has hit their breaking point. People can only tolerate so much bullshit for so long until they say "that's it, I can't support this shit any longer."

They are currently developing "that game without white characters", so they'll live until they have to launch and crash. Or the investors pull the plug because their last milestone wasn't convincing.

TCG Card Shop Simulator is pretty funny. It needs more mechanics though. If they actually add the card game to the game and make an online mode long-term this will be a crazy streamer game.

Wait are you talking about a game in the game thread?

I found the TCG Sim fun for a few hours but its a bit too easy. You get the store up and running quite fast and nothing to worry about.

Once I got a guy restocking shelves and another at the counter I felt kinda done.

Needs some more mechanics like shoplifters etc, a work mate plays Supermarket Sim and that got more stuff to do and worry about.

Made most of my money from play tables and selling items. With a few high value cards here and there.

If it doesn't include booster searching, it's not realistic!

sure unless you do one of the sales exploits the bulk of your xp seems to come from opening packs. At it's current stage of development the game is just a framework to let people indulge their gacha cravings without pissing away hundreds/thousands of dollars.

and for all my shit talking i sure as hell have had to fight the urge to pick it up myself.

Yeah it got kinda repetitive standing there opening Booster Packs and ordering Stock. It's a chill game though and will continue for a bit more.

One of the milestones seem to be adding a playable card game with the cards you collect.

More like he's talking about a game, inside another game, in the gaming thread.

While you fags were out playing EQ, I was heeding Asheron's Call.

If you saw a mountain in the distance, you could climb it.

Monthly storyline and content updates.

Truly open world.

Amazing game.
My best memories about AC is skilling up Jump and Running - and by extension, jumping up on the roof of houses plinking out arrows at anyone that came by. People would rage and "get their friend" and they would come without having the Jump skill needed to get up on the roof. So they died too. Rinse and repeat until someone did have the skill to jump and then I would outrun them. All thanks to some stupid mouse I had back then that would level those skills for me while I was AFK. Or, the second best memory that really just made me appreciate the content cycle of the game - I log off to go on an FTX for a week. I come back, and I fall to my death into a crater. Apparently the town had been nuked from orbit by some big bad face in the sky that would only appear when lightning struck. I still have no idea what was happening - but I thought it was the coolest shit to experience that, since EQ was always so stagnant.
There's a segment about 18 minutes in that goes through everyone that's left Blizzard. STOP GIVING THESE FUCKS MONEY. I tend to think Kaplan was way more responsible for WoW than Alex Afrasiabi, but I'd rather Alex play grabass with a 1000 interns and buy that game than the goyslop that Blizzard is churning out now. This isn't Blizzard.

Alex was just drinking all the time apparently? Goes to lunch with the bros and comes back smashed. Of course he's going to talk side ways to some piece of bunny ass that he probably hired himself, when he was.. well, wasted. "Hey hooters bitch - I know you're a blonde bimbo with a great ass and nice tits, but I bet you could code better than these drunk fucks!" (gestures towards coworkers sitting there laughing while staring at tits.)
343 has rebranded to Halo Studios, multiple games in development with UE5.

Gotta love how the most popular Halo games werent even designed by 343. By renaming themselves, its like theyre trying to claim that all the Halo games were created by them and it just reeks of desperation. Especially when just about every Halo game since has been mid at best.
