Trailer improved my view from certain disaster to the potential of simply being a movie I wont ever see but that may have a few amusing scenes in it.

I also agree this movie is not a remake, not a sequel, but a parody the original Ghostbusters.

Kate McKinnon is pretty funny on SNL. Movie looks pretty average.

It's not a sequel. The 30 years thing is marketing cashing in on your nostalgia. Feig has said a billion times it's a hard reboot and that he only does origin stories.

Edit: Also, FYI, some of the original cast are making cameos, but as other characters. Supposedly Murray plays some dude who tries to debunk them or some crap.

Bridesmaids was a hilarious movie, people who didn't enjoy that film have a garbage sense of humor. If they are going to remake Ghostbusters I have no problem with them casting 4 women as the main characters to shake things up a bit. I have kept as open a mind about this film as anyone could. That trailer didn't make me crack a smile once.

Surprised there weren't any "girl power" moments in the trailer since, up until now, that seemed to be what they were trying to sell this movie on. That said, doesn't look half as bad as I expected, but also about half of what I'd want from a Ghostbuster movie. I'll catch it on cable or something out of curiousity.

People were expecting Leslie Jones to play something other than obnoxiously loud black female stereotype? From what I've seen, that's about the extent of her acting abilities. That's like expecting that Melissa McCarthy would play something other than blundering fat woman in a Feig movie.
