Believe it or not, it"s just as important to some women to pay sometimes as it is to you to always pay. If she has any kind of independant side, she"ll probably be pissed off when she finds out what you did.

Why? First it makes her invest into you, which is what you want.
Second, if you pay for stuff you make her a whore. You dont want to be with a whore and you dont want her to feel like a whore. Hell, you dont want to feel like you are paying for sex(/relationship/timespendtogether).
Stop whatever you are doing, clear your mind of your stupidity and then keep going, letting her pay next time.

This. If she"s a decent, independent girl she"ll WANT to pay from time to time, even if it"s not exactly 50/50. Frankly I don"t care who pays and will generally grab the bill first, but if they want to pay I just say "okay great thanks for dinner" and leave it at that.MorinkhanMT said:

Its not fair to her to string her along, but if she knows my intentions from the outset I cannot be held at fault for having fun with her while we wait for other things... (after typing that out, it sounds like an awful idea)
Oh well, many other women around, and plenty more to meet!

Nope not from Ohio, although I have been there a couple times. I am no longer in California either, but I am hesitant of posting my whereabouts (I do have a crazy stalker)
As for what I want:
A girl that looks as great with a martini and a set of pearls as she does with a beer and a sweatshirt.
A girl as comfortable sitting at home on the couch as she is drinking at the lions head pub in london, a cafe at the Champs Elysees, a beerhall in munich, or a hole in the wall in hong kong.
Someone that isnt afraid of introducing me to the things she likes to do, as well as willing to try the things that I like to do.
If she gets home first: Someone that will give me about a half hour of me time when I get home from work to relax and unwind before any questions or anything like that.
If I get home first: Someone that appreciates the thought that goes into making her favorite drink and having her sit on the couch with the remote or whatever her fancy maybe then talking about her day.
Someone that will rock my socks off in the bedroom, or the kitchen counter, or wherever it happens to take place. But can still act like a lady in front of my mother.
Pretty much, I want it all. I have had bits and pieces and everytime a relationship ends, I end up setting my standards higher, because why should I settle for something less?
Right now, I am not ready to be married or have a kid. But I am ready for a longer term relationship (with the right girl).
One of the reasons I post about this is because perhaps writing it down and seeing it and having other people read it might get me to see a better decision. For example, getting back with Ivana seemed like a great idea, until I wrote it down.
