well according to the movie, they found out about it a long time ago but kept it secret from bryan cranston. thats why hes all upset.

Original isn't ever clear on if nuclear testing just woke him up, or if mutated from it, iirc.

But yeah, rampage of destruction.
After that, its him getting woken up by periodic disturbances.
Then, he fights king kong and frankenstein.

Then they make a giant robot to fight him.
then aliens try to kidnap him.

About this time, he retreats to Monster Island instead of living underwater.
He has a kid. does a jig.

By this point most of Japan has formed cults around giant monsters. Mothra cult. etc.
These cults call to their giant monster gods to save Japan from Godzilla and the aliens.

Aliens brainwash all the monsters, and Godzilla has to fight them all.




I think this movie is Biollante.
Gozilla probably wakes up. Rampages. nukes didn't work. but they got blood samples from the corpse we see.
They inject that dna into something. plant/animal, with a mechanical componant/cyborg, so they think they can control it. it gets out of control. its a biological monstrosity that can incorporate mechanical aspect into itself, as that brief shot of the artillery shell.

Flying. Not sure. possibly aliens. we get a shot of something big and mechanical crashing into the water along with the planes.

Looks like it could be Gigan's hook. You know, the big lizard with the beak and the sawblade in his chest and giant metal hooks for hands.

looked fairly insecticide I though. It bends when it hits the ground.
Maybe its mothra, not rodan. Thought the visible wings looked reptilian/pteradactyl though.

What could POSSIBLY go wrong?

There is definitely multiple kaiju in that movie. Something that catches me is that there is a lot of NBC, bio suits, quarantine stuff going on. Could just from all the millions of dead people, not wanting to catch their diseases but it looks like some kind of theme/sub-theme going on.

Also, giant skeleton... didn't they make the second Mechagodzilla out of a dead Godzilla? >.>

I'm surprised anyone is even questioning if this movie will be PG-13 or R. A Godzilla movie has as much chance of being rated R as a Transformers or X-Men movie does.

I don't even see why anyone would want this movie to be rated R. It doesn't even fit. Godzilla isn't a horror genre >.>

I can't even believe people are thinking a R would be possible. The studio's want to sell a shitton of toys and that won't happen if it's rated R.
