Just write another battle scene. But make sure you explain why it's happening. But don't explain why the explanation is happening. But make the battle good. But don't spend too much on it, we need that money for explaining why the battle wasn't shown (but make it a really GOOD battle).

Also, make sure to say "100 million horses" to get the equestrians really riled up.

GRRM has said that Westeros is based on England during the War of the Roses.

Tobacco was a New World product so there wouldn't have been smoking tobacco.

You DO have numerous characters that chew "sourleaf" and you can even see a few people in the show chewing and spitting something but it's never explained what it is.
