They trained for function mostly and not aesthetics. It's impractical to be lean and ripped when most of the work you do is endurance based such as marching and charging on the battlefield. You need a little body fat to keep going. If you're ripped, rain and cold weather will cool your body down extremely fast and all your body can do to keep itself warm is burn muscle. That said, they could've looked more bulky though.

The unsullied had the build of jaime lannister, who happens to be a pretty damn good swordsman(understatement)...if they were built like the mountain they would be all bulk and no speed. The phrase "lean, mean, fighting machine" springs to mind...

I saw the Bolton cross in the preview, but my assumption was that it was taking place at Winterfell. I could be wrong, but i don't remember Ramsay ever returning to the Dreadfort with Theon. I thought he just holed up in Winterfell and started having the dogs rape Jeyne Poole.

And on the armor again, i guess you could argue that they could've looked cooler just for the hell of it, it is a phantasy series afterall. On the other hand, it's a fairly realistic equipment they're wearing. Standardized, basic equipment for a huge slave army. I mean, these guys are slaves and not loaded ancient greeks with awesome heritage armour.

Man oh man , awesome stuff. So damn mad when it ended , was like NO PLEASE NO...then credits , assholes. Only storyline that irks me is the Fire cunt one , because I am not seeing the big picture with her. Also , i wonder how many of those fucking giants exist...that shit was awesome when it appeared. Was like NO WAY , DRAGONS , GIANTS , UNDEAD , MAGICIANS , why havent i heard of this fucking world prior to the TV Show.
