I thought they just started to appear since they were gone for thousands of years , wonder if they will ever explain how one becomes a walker. As in , do you need to be killed by one of their weapons as when the show started it looked like the dude at that end of last season was doing the killing with his ice weapon or whatever it was in the very 1st episode of the show. I want to read the history of that dude , but afraid it will spoil more then i want to know.I kinda thought the Wildlings and the Walkers may have been allied in some way. I'm glad they seemingly aren't.
EDIT - Do not post anything from the books that has not been in this show. Do not post anything fromt eh books at all. Period. Zero. Zilch.I thought they just started to appear since they were gone for thousands of years , wonder if they will ever explain how one becomes a walker. Then the salient part you may have missed:It wasn't the most compelling episode. The Tywin/Tyrion scene, although well acted, appeared to be a rehash of what has already been stated throughout the previous seasons.
Hail Caesar, pleb. The guy is a great actor, if the writing ends up being worth a shit he'll do a good job.I really really really don't like the dude the casted for Mance, not even remotely close to how I saw him.
there are specific ways of dealing with wight/white walkers, as was shown in season one when lc mormont was attacked. I cant get into the rest, but you will get an explanation in the show.I thought they just started to appear since they were gone for thousands of years , wonder if they will ever explain how one becomes a walker. Well in the TV show he isn't a bard anymore it appears so it doesn't really matter now.The problem with the show Mance is not the actor being shit, but rather the actor being Caesar behind the wall instead of a cheeky ex-crow who fancies himself a bard in his spare time.
I guess I wasn't very direct with what I was saying, I imagine he'll be a good actor, it's just in my mind when reading the books he looked absolutely nothing like that dude.Hail Caesar, pleb. The guy is a great actor, if the writing ends up being worth a shit he'll do a good job.
Also, I think I read somewhere that the original Gregor actor would be back. Not sure how accurate it was. He was replaced because he was cast as Bolg for The Hobbit and the schedules conflicted. Would definitely be nice to have the huge ogre looking guy back for a certain fight scene later on.
