Making TNT is easy. Making QNT would require magic.Easier doesn't mean "couldn't do it before"
I mean, it was easy enough to make for the Mad King to stockpile enough of it to burn the majority of Kings Landing.
Glad you know so much about making fictional crap. I look at it as wildfire being analgous to TNT, that is trinitro toluene. Thoae nitrogen groups are where its chemical energy comes from. Can make it. Throwing on an additional nitrogen or two requires much more energy. Wildfire...always able to be made through chemistry...now ot is easier and more powetful because of magic returningWildfire requires the arcane to make. Pyromancers make it. Who pratice the arcane. Who have been around for long, long before the comet.

It's more like napalm mixed with TNT. Either way, it requires something called "The Substance" which is said to be arcane and only the Alchemists Guild work with it and know how to create it.Glad you know so much about making fictional crap. He was asking just about Westeros. Magic is all over the East long before the comet or dragons ever show up.then there is that crazy city where Mel and Quaithe come from. Asshai, which is 24/7 harry potter larping.
So I take your word a fictional explossive gets its chemical energy from magic not basic laws of physics and chemistry? Okay...Wildfire isn't made through chemistry alone just like Valyrian Steel can't be made through forging alone. It's made with infusing the items with magic.
Stop being all butt hurt dude, you're asking questions, you're getting answers.
You can take the word of the fictional world we are discussing. THEY are the ones that said it.So I take your word a fictional explossive gets its chemical energy from magic not basic laws of physics and chemistry? Okay...
Same people in the world that stop believing in magic in Westeros also where they seem to have little understanding of how their world works at all really? Same people that said the comet and dragons meant that magic was returning? Okay. You can take the word of the fictional world we are discussing. THEY are the ones that said it.
You seem to be debying that the comet abd dragons aren't indicative of magic returning to Westeros....Says the guy who was asking about a comet, magic and the history of magic in a fictional world. *eyeroll*
It was never explicitly stated. People just sort of made that up. You had people claiming the comet was the return of magic, the return of dragons, the crowning of Joffrey, the killing of Ned, the return of white walkers, the Prince Who Was Promised and a dozen other ideas. You seem to be debying that the comet abd dragons aren't indicative of magic returning to Westeros....
The general consensus amongst the Uber-dorks that go off on this shit is this is the case. Comet+Dragons+Gods+White Walkers are simply the general "Magicness" of the entire world getting stronger for "reasons".My understanding has always been that magic is more powerful now due to the dragons returning(or the comet), but it was always there before that.
