Fuck those people. Anyone who comes to my superbowl party and complains about there being too much meat, cheese, and fried food is not welcome back next year. And make something light for those who don't want to constantly eat meat.
That IS strange. Like poached scrambled eggs? Yeah, I think I'll just cook mine the regular healthy way: in bacon grease.I just made the strangest "scrambled?" eggs, ever. Saw it done on a food show, thought I'd try it. Get water to a good, rolling boil. whisk your eggs, stir the boiling water so it is quickly going around the pan, pour in your eggs. Cook for about 25 seconds, use a strainer to scoop the eggs out.
They were...unlike other eggs I've had. The flavour was fine with some seasoning, but the texture was...hard to describe. And not something that I loved. I might try it again and cook the eggs a little longer.
Yeah I used to do that every morning before work, sometimes on a sandwich with some cheese and sometimes by itself. Shit is good.fry eggs in olive oil. You'll never eat them another way again.
and I'm not talking about olive oil spray.
I make BLTs by frying up the bacon, then using a little of the grease to fry some eggs. Nothing finer than a BLT with a fried egg on it. Simple and incredibly delicious.I fry my eggs In bacon fat. I usually make scrambled eggs with bacon in them. Cut up bacon into small pieces, fry it up, drain 1/2 fat out, and then add in the eggs.
I made some homemade rice & roni with mine, then just poured some of the drippings on it, Was good.I have the "KFC" chicken in the crock pot right now. Unsure what to make with it though...
