Just remember this, Chinese invented pizza, marco polo stole it and threw some mozz on it (this is kinda false).Ravioli is just a dumpling w/ cheese. I was lactose intolerant, but i grew up in NY in the 80/90's so i had pizza practically every day. (i'm old, you could have a slice for a quarter back then.) A teenage pizza diet will say fuck you to lactose intolerance. Then i moved to VA, cuz of job, since the pizza was pathetic and i really didn't drink milk otherwise the lactose intolerance came back.

Only recently i've built it back up since moving to NJ, the pizza here is decent, the pizza is still made by italians, ugh thats why the pizza is kinda only ok. Everyone who has had pizza in ny now knows that the majority of it is made by mexicans, cuz fuck it mexicans are everywhere!

In my old neighborhood i used to goto "Franks" for years, every wednesday night i'd pop in for 2 slices after my boy scout meeting, his car was always parked in the front, a Lambo. It wasn't until i watched the Sopranos did i put 2 + 2. Now a mexican named "Frank" took over, oh well.

Bros, I got some excellent news today. I went to an allergist because I am tired of being itchy as fuck all the time. I explained to him the previosu Dr had diagnosed and told me to stay away from wheat, he just shook his head and smiled and said "Food allergies aren't a thing."

This confused me, but he continued. He said if he tests you 30 times for food allergies, half the time it will come back positive. The testing isn't reliable. The way to tell if it is real is to eat the food and document the immediate reactions, within 1-2 hours at most, not over the course of days like my previous Dr had told me. He further explained that even in cases of verified food allergies like peanut allergies, they don't rely on testing to see if the allergy is gone/improved/changed, they just give the kid a peanut and measure the immediate reaction. He said yeah, go home, eat some real pizza, and see if your skin goes fucking bonkers within a very short period of time of eating it. If it does, there is something to this and let's follow up and look at it being a for real wheat allergy. If it doesn't, there is nothing to it and I am a normie again. So bros, no lie, I ate like half a fucking pizza and it is the best pizza I have ever had.

Turns out what is causing my symptoms that the Dr had previously blamed on food allergies is dermographism uticaria which can be aggravated by allergies (such as dust mites which he did confirm I am very allergic to) and can cause extreme itching and hives.

So this weekend: egg rolls or chicken fried steak. Or chicken fried steak egg rolls. With pancakes.

hey dude, my wife has been dealing w/ dust mite allergies for years, i've talked about in the air thread, if you haven't taken precaution.
Amazon.com: Sleep Defense System - Waterproof / Bed Bug Proof Mattress Encasement - 60-Inch by 80-Inch, Queen: Home Kitchen
also don't forget to get the pillow encasements, and wash your blankets but the drying is the important thing, you have to use the dryer to basically fry those little fuckers (you can also get blanket encasements but those suck)

I've spent thousands over the years to find a good air cleaner, the best one we've kept is this winix
Amazon.com - Winix WAC5500 True HEPA Air Cleaner with PlasmaWave Technology - Hepa Filter Air Purifiers

that doesn't sound like a fucking lawn mower in the bedroom.

if you have central air, replace your furnace filters w/ better filters, at least something with a MERV 10 rating (this will take care of dust mites), you should however really consult your AC guys first b/c these furnace filters are kinda restrictive and might put heavy strain on your central air.

and if you're looking for a great filter, just slap a 20x20x1 MERV 13+ rated filter over a box fan and it'll be hospital quality air, i could go and on in the air thread if you want instead, so we don't junk up the cooking thread, just that it's so cool you can eat shit now!

Yeah he gave me pamphlets for that stuff but it was super expensive, I figured I would look online.

Seriously, I ate so much pizza. And fucking oreos. I did like a 1/4 McCheese. I'm legit excited about getting to cook again. I think I might cook something cool this weekend to celebrate.

i dunno where this peanut allergy thing came from. when i was a kid, half my school had peanut butter sammiches every day, they even served them from the cafeteria and not a goddamn kid fell down on the floor in convulsions. i used to think i had a slight allergy because i would have peanut butter every day at my grandma's house and sometimes i would break out on my arms, it was probably from the oil in the peanut butter, it didnt stop me from eating them though. i still have peanut butter once a week and nothing happens.

Good for you man. Also good for us because I don't want to read anymore of your posts talking about gluten free bagels and other inedible crap.

I wish I had saved the article. But in short, in areas where everyone pushed peanut allergies and stopped feeding it to their kids. They had a higher percentage of kids over time that had peanut allergies. So feed them lots of peanuts early on.

Both my older brother(43) and myself(39) are allergic to peanuts. We were born in Rochester, NY. My family then moved to south Florida and my 3 younger siblings were born down here and are not allergic. All 5 of us have the same parents. It's weird.

doesn't it have to do w/ doctors telling moms who are preggers not to eat nuts and fish, cuz who knows wtf, so you don't develop that embryonic immunity shit? Maybe by the time your moms had your 3 younger siblings she said, "fuck it, imma eat what i want" gimme that PB&J&Lox

My Mom makes sandwiches with peanut butter, tomato, and mayo. I would like to say it's as disgusting as it sounds but it's not. Really fucking solid sandwich if you have good tomatoes.
