Already having a new employer policy in 3.5m cases or so. Its a figure in a vacuum ignoring new policies generated.

Its not a net figure.

Seemed like the equivalent of a Budweiser or other bikini commercial to me... Nothing particularly overt other than the dress code and minor stuff.

I HATE seeing gay PDA stuff, straight PDA bothers me enough already and not 100% gay comfortable, and that barely registered any blips to me.

You do realize the 4m figure includes employers that CHANGED insurance to another policy, right?

Actual drop figure was under a half mil last I checked.

Again, figures in a vacuum. Yes, 4m policies were dropped - but the majority were replaced.
Yes, many of the policies are replaced, only at a much higher premium in order to comply with Obamacares new regulations. The issue is, that's not what the president promised now is it?
"If you already have health insurance, the only thing that will change for you under this plan is the amount of money you will spend on premiums," Barack Obama said during his 2007 speech unveiling his health care plan. "That will be less."

"During the 2008 campaign Obama argued at least 15 times premiums would go down, saying for a family the average drop would be $2500

Do you think maybe he meant for comparable plans and not just "your price will go down no matter what kind of coverage you have now and no matter what kind of plan you pick up"? Holy shitballs, you fucking people. I guess in addition to an anger interpreter Obama also needs a legal advisor to qualify every single statement he makes in public.

You do realize even though he never elaborated beyond quoting the name if the report but if you actually read the report he was quoting savings from it wasn't day one or even year one savings.

It was the projected difference for YEAR TEN in premium costs.

So unless you've seen 2024s rates the quote while cute is only misleading in timeframe (since one would assume soon if you don't read the report) since its not 2024 yet or even close to it. (Note average premium was projected to be $3-4k higher preACA - so they've been expecting some increases)

But please feel free to burn him at the stake for not using verbose in detail phrasing you'd ignore if he went that route. And likely bitch about him being 'too elitist' or some shit.

Oh, have we given up on the whole "0 is a great legal mind" schtick?

Heheh.. your uncritical love of all things Obama..Care still makes me laugh.

Do you honestly believe that the ACA has been a net positive for the country? Really? After all the evidence to the contrary and even most Democrats running from it as fast as possible?

I thought I'd wait until it actually went into effect before I made that judgment. Pretty radical, I know, but I like to play things fast and loose.

Plenty of people did... I did before it was passed personally. And pretty sure congress got it before the website did.

2000 double spaced pages isn't a long read if you're accustomed to reading.
