Well since Izo decided to immediately ruin my troll, ekg/xray/lung sounds were all normal, and atavan did seem to help so it was probably stress related. Had some pretty epic drama unfold recently that I thought I was ok with, but maybe I'm not so gonna make an emergency appointment with my counselor today.

So, for the last 5-7 days, I've been randomly getting loops of songs, generally the hook or a section of random lyric stuck in my head...for hours at a time, we're talking like 2-3 hours of endless repetition that usually is only broken up by a focused task or another snippet of song. This has been going on from basically the moment I wake up until bed and is starting to freak me out a bit. The only thing that's really changed in my life is I switched jobs to an insanely easy / boring SysAdm position and I have nothing to do all day and I don't seem to be sleeping all that well because I'm getting up early as fuck for said job.

I wouldn't be as worried if my my co-worker hadn't left work for early onset dementia...

Finally got into a doctor. Back on metformin, 1000mg x 2 a day and 2mg glimepiride once a day. Really hoping I can get back on track.

So I had my doctors appointment and showed him the pic I posted here. He agreed that hemorrhoid or not, that is excessive bleeding. He was less worried when I said it was going on for years and two colonoscopies later they found nothing. He suggested that there might be a fissure that gets ruptured every so often. I don't know how valid that sounds right now. He prescribed me some anal suppositories to kind of make it all better and we are going to monitor it. I didn't pick them up yet.

My blood test came back with no anemia but high cholesterol (253) so I am fixing my diet a bit and getting my ass moving. He immediately prescribed Lipitor without even consulting me or suggesting lifestyle changes. The wife was pissed about that. I am sitting at 6' and 225 and could lose some weight. There is also some research saying that lymphoma and/or the chemo (rituximab) can cause a spike in all that as well. Prior to the cancer diagnosis it was still not low but was only at 216.

Well if they can't find any polyps or cancer or hemorrhoids then who knows... but the blood is coming from somewhere. If it's red and not black then it's coming from your butt. Intermittent fissure is as good as guess as any. But there should be evidence of that. Finding it is not going to be the most pleasant experience for you or the ER doc. Cause the way you find it is next time you start bleeding, you go down to the ER and ask one of them to look.

Are you SURE it's not just your period?

Yeah, I had considered this as well. I'd been drinking a lot more coffee+red bull+diet soda to compensate for the early rising. I went to bed super early last night and got a smaller coffee today and am skipping the rest. So far, I feel it in smaller spurts but overall, a lot better.

red bull will straight fuck you up. Don't trust that stuff.

You probably can't because of the nature of your work. But the real trick to not getting tired is to not sit down. You keep the blood up and the rest will take care of itself. Until you sit down. Then you're fucked.

Also: comfortable shoes.

Low fiber intake, high carb and high red meat. I would immediately say tearing hemorrhoids if I was always having hard shits from not enough fiber or lots of anal sex. Since this happens even with the softest of shits I don't feel that way and neither do the docs I have talked to. After a colonoscopy it's just hands in the air.

Oh god you don't want an ass fistula!

As far as scopes and seeing it I had my yearly scope test and he did not say anything about the fistulas I had. Unless he was just a dick and didn't say anything but he's usually very honest with what he sees.
