I'm taking B12 shots. But I'm also deficient in magnesium and zinc, never tested for iron and calcium. I'm going to another gastroenterologist and never bring up the ADEM. Doctors never look for the simplest or cheapest things to eliminate first apparently.

It wasn't messy, just awkward since I had to go to convenient care and lay on my side with my legs tucked up while a nurse practitioner squeezed clotted blood out of a hemorrhoid. I have an incredibly high tolerance for pain so I was surprised how much that hurt.
