At 4/6 it's decent enough to put down even if you don't get the effect. Control shaman just isn't going to happen though so I don't expect it in top tier decks
Hmm Crusher Shaman was very good. Who says it won't come back due to all the cards out of the system

Oh for sure. But not going to happen here, the people talking about playing Renolock have no idea how to play the deck. I can't imagine the scenario as a warlock where I'm going to clear a board and not have at least 6 cards in my hand. Sure let me just overdraw my PO, Leeroy, Faceless, or Reno, just to name a few.

Shaman is still a weak class outside the aggro version.
You're not going to run Shaman because of this 1 card, they need a lot more help for sure.
However, if we're just evaluating the 5 slot, this card is very good for the stats alone. The healing affect is a nice bonus.
Other 5 drops of note for Standard are:
Earth Elemental -- loses the trade
Thunder Bluff Valiant -- even trade
Azure Drake -- trades favorably
Blackwing Corrupter -- trades favorably
Harrison Jones -- trades favorably
Nexus-Champion Saraad -- even trade
Stampeding Kodo -- even trade
So yea, the card trades favorably or even with most 5 drops we should expect to see. It's going to be a decent option if you already have lightning storm or elemental destruction in your shaman list.
Who knows, maybe crusher shaman returns or totem shaman becomes a thing due to their clears working more consistently?
I've changed my tune and rate the card an A+, but control Shaman in Standard is probably about C or B- tier.

It's not for every deck of course but that's a solid card if the meta allows the archetype. Demands an answer but is also a body. Kinda Empish.

It's a solid card, the problem is that outside of aggro, shaman is a shit tier deck. With all the deathrattle out another minion minions rotating out, lightning storm might be consistent enough to bring old school shaman back a bit, but I have some pretty serious doubts.

Insect for battle!
It's a good card by itself and it'll be quite good in arena, somewhat making up for warrior's problems at the 2 slot. But, pirates for warrior? Also, not sure if any constructed deck will run this when the possibility of your fiery war axe just overwriting it the next turn.
Someone else mentioned that this + Brawl + Execute is a 7 mana board clear. Perhaps too many cards to include for just that reason, but could be interesting.
So is the tentacle.
This card just doesn't look good enough. The number of weapons warriors have make them a top candidate for a pirate deck, but the Pirates just aren't strong enough cards.

Not to mention the tentacle doesn't require you to facetank whatever minion happens to survive the brawl.

Heh, the picture of tentacle on gamepedia doesn't have a rarity icon. Made me think it was some kind of Dr Tentacle kind of thing after all.
