I'm getting WAY too many of the same players in back to back games. First, as I've said before, this should NEVER happen. Second, this tells me that the population is dying off because when Hearthstone was at it's peak, you almost never got the same player back to back.

Seeing as how there are still a few thousand people making legend every season, I'm pretty sure you're just talking out of your ass courtesy of confirmation bias.

Was a pretty good play. I didn't even kind of see this one coming.

Looking at the board before the video starts playing, I'm going to assume he hero powers his own auchenai, trades it into the spectral knight, holy nova, circle, swing for lethal.

I would think server issues over population dying. Seems they have been having odd issues all week, especially in EU as they gave out free packs for all the downtime.

I was right about that play by Silentstorm, although obviously it's much easier to solve a lethal puzzle when you know there is lethal on the board. No clue if I would have seen that play in time during an actual match.

Just reinforces the point that you should always make some effort to see if you have lethal before you do something else with your turn.

I lost 3 ranks today and the game stopped being fun awhile ago. The meta definitely shifted to something that I don't enjoy at all. Nothing but Freeze Mages and Mid-Range Hunter. Hunter is still the most broken class in the game. I'm done for today.

I started to feel the same with constructed earlier today.

12 games in a row no matter what class (I got some warriors mixed in there) felt like it was Turn 6 Emp, Turn 7 Boom, Turn 8 Ysera - once I bothered to say "Hey wait a second, that again!?" around game 9 or so it happened the next three games before I said fuck it for the day.

I assumed the Innkeeper's message dropping something about "cheating" was just bots - but makes me wonder otherwise in light of how fucking repetitive shit has been today.

It's probably just statistical anomaly nonsense - but still curious that they made the term in that thing so general.

Arena was similar - 1 win, 3 losses - all three losses to priests throwing out at two to four of the +2/+4 buff by turn 6. Bizarrely similar - and bizarre to even see a single priest in a run - much less three that are pushing a win by turn 8.

Just encountered a novel play for the first time. Warlock drops Stallag/Feugen against my patron warrior on the board. I was close to having the combo for lethal and ignored them. Next turn he drops motherfucking Deathwing which spawns TWO Thaddiuses from them. FUCK....

I've been playing all day and besides one or two grim patrons have run into nothing but non-standard decks. Blood knight paladins, Gang Up rogues, spell power shamans, etc. I'm getting my fucking ass kicked, but whatever, definitely not seeing what some of you guys are bitching about. Maybe it's cause I started at 12 and have dropped to 15 though. I agree though, fuck this game.

You know that every time you speculate about cheating you sound completely retarded right?

Yeah if both of them die at the same time you get two Thaddii.

Hunter drives me crazy and that's one reason I'm loving my Patron run against them. So many close wins that hopefully drove them mad. So many Berzerkers ignored until too late. So many tears(hopefully) as they realize explosive trap can help me win. Nothing like watching a guy go from twenty to zero in a turn.

Just lost 3 games in a row due other player playing Alextrasza, one to reduce my health and 2 to heal themselves. Would have won all 3 next round if not for that. Well sometimes RNG works for you, sometimes against you.

I shrug most of the time when a loss comes down to a legendary ability. It sucks especially when you don't have any of the decent game changers but there isn't anything you can do. I play Paladin a lot and I can't stand that I don't have Tirion yet. Such a damn game changer. I'm lucky I was able to craft a Boom and opened a Sylvanas awhile back.

Yea, after Blizzard makes an announcement including some ambiguous mentioning of "cheating" it's weird to speculate exactly what that entails when they haven't elaborated. It's probably bots - we all know HS bots are around - but it still feels weird when you see bizarre RNG streaks.

You just do it more than anyone else dude. We all bitch, but we don't all instantly jump to people are hacking the RNG! I had an Arena yesterday with Dr. Boom and Tirion. There was one turn I drew into the perfect answers and then into Boom and then into Tirion. Played the same guy the next game and the same exact thing happened. Then played a guy where his Madder Bomber had 13 targets and hit my face 4 times for lethal. It's just fucking Hearthstone man.

Edit: Just played against a Mage that dropped a Fel Reaver mid game. I made him discard 15 cards the next turn with Innervates and Spare parts and shit, two of those cards were Pyroblast. A few turns later, he casts his third pyroblast to lethal me. That's just Hearthstone man, lol.

Been playing since Alpha. I've only see one confirmed cheat, and that was the ability to lag someones game out which would grant you a win at the time.

They fixed it before Beta even hit. Everything else is just bugs, and RNG.

Last time I said anything musing hacking was 2014 (late 2014 - around GvG launch time).

And regardless I was referencing them making a cracking down on cheaters post. Calling "automation" cheating is pretty weird. They banned bots in Warcraft over the past couple weeks, they called it botting. EQ1 botting? They called it botting. EQ2 botting? They called it botting. Hearthstone they called it "cheating".

Just oddly imprecise way to say something - versus using the generally accepted term. [even if they wanted to stick to the prose style - "letting something else play for you (be it a dragon or a tinkered mech)" would've been clearer]

I acknowledge it's probably botting - it just niggled me that they used such an odd phrasing for it. You people take intellectual curiosity as something way too serious.

[And mind you I've used MTGO hacks (only briefly, used it enough to confirm it worked and then reported it) back when they worked in OTJ firsthand - they were rather slight - but influential since they let you see the "pack seed" and open packs identifying a card or two (the whole seed wasn't cracked before they fixed it to not be able to sniff the seed - rares were all figured out, and often you could know most of the uncommons)]

There was also a brief time where you could delay games indefinitely by targeting hero portraits/monsters with abilities. I don't remember exactly how it worked, but remembered someone doing it to me 1 turn from lethal.
