I wouldn't say gloating more like laughing that an all golden druid couldn't get me below 22 life or either ice block. I actually think I played against that canadian guy who spent $3500 on packs too as he was an all golden control warrior and that obviously didn't go as well

though was close.

Well I guess my point is golden cards don't really help with card draw lol. Druid doesn't fare too well against freeze mage, either, unless they have Kezan or draw perfectly.

I have seen the worst players with standard net decks the last couple days play where I literally think they do not know how to read what a card does other than its atk/health. I'm starting to think new mobile only players have dropped a shit ton on money on insta-collections at this point.

I'm playing Druid for the daily this morning. I've read at 2 different places that mid-Druid is favored over Freeze Mage, but I've lost to 2 this morning. How is Druid favored over Freeze Mage? Any general tips for playing against Freeze Mage? I know we've got a couple Freeze Mage players here... help a brother out. I think they have surpassed Face Hunter as my most hated deck.

I don't think mid druid is actually favored. I'd say it's even or slightly favored for the freeze mage. It's dependent on you getting a very aggressive draw and dealing as much damage to them as you can before they lock the board down with freezes and clears.

My advice for Druid vs. Freeze Mage:

First of all you want to armor up every possible turn. Some of it will stack because they're not going to ping you every turn. So every point of armor is 1 extra health when Alex comes down.

Second, make sure you can deal with Alex on Turn 9. Turn 9, she's coming down. 95% of the time she's coming down. She needs to be dealt with immediately or you lose.

Ideally save your Ancients of Lore until after Alex comes down as heals. Freeze Mage actually doesn't run a ton of damage and they rely on Alex to chop off half your health. So if you can deal with Alex and heal up a bit, you'll pull yourself out of lethal range. With that said, I've seen versions running Antonidas. If you can't deal with back to back Alex and Antonidas, you're going to lose and I'm not really sure how to help there. That can give them a lot of reach.

Finally, if you're running into a ton of Mages and Hunters, tech in Kezan Mystic. Freeze Mage wants to play Ice Block as soon as possible and stealing it at a clutch moment can swing the game in your favor.

I agree about the armoring up and had been doing that as much as possible. Had not been saving Lore's for the heal though. Had been using them for card draw. Thanks for the suggestions.

Eh, I'd say most of the time you want cats, but keep in mind a bear survives a flamestrike + ping. A bear can also help when you don't have an immediate alex answer and they don't have enough spells in hand to burn you down without an alex hit.

After the initial set of board clears, a bear might end up doing more damage than a cat.

My opponent plays Fel Reaver. I play four cards the next turn - one of which is Humility on that Fel Reaver. And one of the other cards I played was Coldlight Oracle. Sent him to fatigue and I had 14 cards left. Felt good.

I don't know why I haven't played Patron Warrior much before. The deck is fun, extremely strong and I've beaten quite a few hunters with it today. It is also nice to have a Warrior deck that does't require a lot of Legendaries to function at top form.

I'd get Cenarius & Al'Akir whenever you can. They are used in most Druid/Sham decks. All the others are whatever. Baron is good in control warr but not necessary.

I'm at a point where I don't know what to do. I just want to start working on gold decks tbh but kinda want to get everything first beforehand.
