Really also surprised they wouldn't offer a gold option. People are hoarding up gold at this point in many cases and it would be a gold sink. Which should be especially important since people with lots of gold might be less likely to spend real money on expansion card packs or adventures later on.

Not gonna change them all, but depending on who is the mage one, I might get that since it's the class I play the most. Although I do like Jaina.
I do hope they introduce a Monk and Death Knight hero at some point though.

So what's the fucking point of 500 wins now? Golden warrior looks cool but this dude smashes his hero power with a fucking hammer.
Really, the 500 win portraits actually take some work at the game so they should carry more weight. But they will look like ass compared to the new ones.

I think its a given that we will see DK and Monk as part of a paid expansion at some point in the future. Personally I am hoping the DK hero power is that it forces the opponent straight to rope on his next turn. I would never play any other class, ever, no matter how shit DK might be in the meta. The tears would be too delicious.

Yep, cosmetic bullshit sucks. No doubt they will make bank, but I prefer substance over style.
My favorite games are mostly 10+ years old. This industry (at least the larger devs) has gone to shit because everything needs to be appealing to the mouth-breathing masses. Fucking slap some shiny marketing on Total War Rome 2 and charge $70 for the piece of shit when the original Total War Rome still kicks its ass.

On another note, just drafted a Mage Arena deck. Very first game I beat a Shaman with Feral Spirit, Lava Burst, Shade of Naxx, Emporer, and Alexstrasza. That is 2 good rares, a good epic, and 2 good legendaries in one fucking arena draft. And I only saw something like 10 of his cards. WTF... seriously.
