A feature I'd like to see is the ability to save and view replays of matches once they finish. Sometimes I'd like to view a replay and see it from my opponents point of view. Would be fun to see what could have gone down differently after a close game.

Well if your choice is free arenas or a possible flashy looking card I think I would go with free arenas every time. A lot of people aren't made of money. I saw my friend pay for a few arenas already and its a little disheartening. Sure if you have the option of getting nothing or getting cards people will go with something over nothing, but if you like arenas more than constructed, then why choose to get cards over a free arena?

That is the main reason I stopped MtG. Its too expensive to be competitive and its almost too expensive to be casual.

Magic affordable if you treat it like an investment, where you have to constantly prune your collection like a portfolio, trading and selling. But then it's also an extra job.

Trading for value really took a hard dive after smart phones became widespread.

Yeah, I buy specifically what I need for my deck, then wait 2 months for the set to bottom out/farm packs, and buy the remainder of my playsets of everything (since product generally fills out most of it). Usually pays off when something like Nightveil Specter inevitably happens (2 months of tournament winnings and never cracked a one, glad I grabbed em when I did). And it makes sure I've got plenty of shitty cards like Kessig Cagebreakers that are hilarious fun in EDH.

Every other game is vs. a priest now, it sucks. So many bad players that only play flavor of the month.

I find mages much more annoying than priests. Mind control is broken for sure, but that's why my decks just don't run big creatures anymore, which makes it much less of a risk. It's the mass board clear spells like flamestrike or blizzard that I find can instantly turn a game from a sure win to a loss.

Priest is bad right now, the meta is too fast and your AE removal is shit.

Rogue, lock and paladin are the best in constructed, and paladin/rogue/hunter are the best it seems in arena.

Yeah, in Arenas I fear Mages WAY more than Priests or anyone else for that matter, really.

Maybe fear isn't the right word, but Mages make me RAGE way more than anyone else. Between freezing my minions, flamestriking fucking everything, and pinging the everliving shit out of my minions, I definitely shout at my computer a lot more when playing Mages than I do anyone else.

Finally went 9 wins in Arena, and was a bit surprised as this deck had no epics or legendary in it at all, but it did have 4 flamestrikes, 2 fireballs, 2 frost bolts and 1 polymorph.

I always do really well in arena when I have 3+ Flamestrikes as Mage. Can't remember who it was, one of the top arena guys, who said "I'll always take another Flamestrike over nearly anything else."
