"How do we get everyone back on board after one of the most universally hated series train wrecks?"
"Two words: Internalized. Misogyny."
How many brain cells did they have to sacrifice to come up with that one?
The earliest reveal trailer honestly gave me the impression it had some potential despite all of my skepticism, especially next to Rings of Power, which already outed itself as being trash from the start. Then they pull these kinds of stunts and it's right back in the trash bin next to RoP and WoT as far as I care. I'm not paying for HBO either way, but they're not getting me as one of their day 1 seeding numbers, that's for sure.
Now they have to find a way to paint other women as being (in their eyes) objectively wrong instead of simply writing characters in shades of grey.
When you go back to how Game of Thrones, it was more than equitable between so-called power dynamics even before taking its setting's historical inspirations into account, and only towards the latter seasons did things sometimes get silly. HotD is just coming out of the gates going full retard like it's GoT season 12.

Really well said, and "horseshit fucking term" describes it beautifully.Internalized misogyny is one of the most horseshit fucking terms to come out of feminist shit. For all the hoopla about empowerment, they literally made a term to strip the agency away from every woman who doesn’t agree with them. Fucking cunts.
