I'm actually excited to see this one. It's getting amazing reviews, and it's finally an R rated Wolverine movie, which they all should've been. But even aside from that, it looks like the story for this one is actually interesting, which would be a first. And obviously, it has Patrick Stewart, which means it's awesome.

Same. Origins was trash and Wolverine was decent. Haven't seen Apocalypse yet, First Class and Days were good. Had issues 141-42 plus many such as

back when X-Men was the shit.

72-3 on RT. This might be the rare super hero film that my wife will come with to see. A lot of confidence in the film by the studio to allow reviews out so far in advance.

this weeks (S20 E19) graham norton show has Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart for 100% of the show with a special guest, well, well, well worth a watch. will probably go up on youtube in a few days but can torrent it now or UK viewers can see it here (americans are blocked by socialist pinkos)

I saw that, those actors clearly care a lot for each other. They all seem like really nice guys.

Hugh Jackman also had an interview on a political show this morning, Deadpool 2 was brought up and he said he knew the comic book history between the characters hating each other and that Ryan Reynolds is currently camping outside his house but he isn't doing it since this is the send off for the character he wanted.

Unfortunately, almost every time an actor says they're character is finished they're just trying to keep some return/cameo secret. Fortunately, if that WAS the case, it would most certainly be for Deadpool.

even more hyped than I was after the Fallon show last night. Seems like they put all the mojo they had left into this movie. Can't wait, will be there this weekend

Just saw it, very good, very violent, infinitely better than Age of Apocalypse.

A few minor quibbles but nothing major

didn't like that adamantium seemed to be no longer rare but don't know if that is in line with comics

didnt see the new movie, and I dont know anything about the comics-- but that peeved me in the orig xmen movies when they went back to the place wolverine was "made" and they still had the vats of adamantium chilling there in liquid form... both having ANY of it in ANY amount was to be SUPER RARE and then being able to liquefy it - again a process that is apparently really hard to do and hard to duplicate- nahh still here where we left it... I mean I suppose the rational was- they were only able to do it that once, so leave it there as it is- we may never get it that way again...and leave it unguarded.... but I think adamantium is just like vibranium- rare except for when plot.

I haven't been this excited for an X-Men related movie in years. Seven o'clock needs to get here already.

Oh, for fans of the UK Office it was funny to see Stephen Merchant with a big part as Caliban

As someone with next to no knowledge of X-Men related shit, this movie was fucking awesome. Goddamn that was violent.
