I had a client Mist on the LA City planning commission. He would get directed all sorts of IPO stock. Besides his front running of zoning changes.

I feel like all Congressman, Senators and the President should be forced to move their stock portfolios into in a special ETF while in office that matches the S&P and they can only withdraw once out of office. Cuz that bullshit is insider trading. If they improve the economy they win like everyone else, if they don't, suck it up buttercup.

I think we need to drag a couple of them into the street, and put a bullet in their brains.

They all are crooks. Now I'm time tripping. I had this guy as a client. Never earned a cent off him. Only deposited money in the money market, which paid 18% at the time. Wasn't much either.

Today looks like a good day to sell off, I gotta believe Monday is going to be a bad one.

US had near 5k new cases yesterday, expect higher today and over the weekend. Entering Monday with 50k+ confirmed cases will cause another panic imo

I'm curious if people have noticed this in their areas. I live in a heavily republican area and nobody gives a fuck about the quarantine. Vast majority of businesses are open and busy, including ones "shut down".

I have a feeling this is going to hit democratic strongholds a LOT harder than republican ones. Major cities and highly populated areas, but I haven't been to one to see how effective their quarantines are.

You can't know until your state improves testing. NJ has 4th most confirmed cases, there are some in my area. Testing takes 5 days in some cases, I have a relative waiting for test results. You're going to see a spike this weekend as results from earlier in the week start pouring in

Cuomo just announced allowing only essential personnel to keep working for now in NY. Dow was dropping like a rock, went from +400 to negative in a couple minutes. Looks like its stabilized though for now around even from yesterday's close interestingly. Seems like a lot of resistance in the 19k-20k range, that it's going to take a new level of bad news to trigger a drop below this ? I would have thought this would have more impact on markets to basically shut down NYC lol.

Best sign I see so far is even when it went red the vix was still down 12%. We really need volatility to go down, the up or down moves are going to be meaningless compared to stabilization.

Press conference could throw it all to the wind in a few mins. depending on tone

I was thinking in terms of economic impact.
