I think last time SPY dipped from $565 to $517, that was a small term correction, roughly 9-10%. A real correction is 20% or higher IMO. I think we need one. Would love for us to hit $450-$480.
I’m hoping for $220, a proper correction maybe next Monday . Limit down. Everyone is fucked. Few.

A correction is 10-19% anything more is considered a bear market .

sub 10 is usually called a pullback
In my head I was thinking 20% was a correction, seems I was a tad off. heh

My largest individual holding is right around the 16% down mark over this FQ for them. But we're still not long off from setting an ATH. Knowing the market overall hasn't been all gangbusters for the last month or so I figured it was a little this company and a little the market. (Not disclosing which ticker this is for.. reasons)

Figure I'm patient, and feel it will recover at some point. Then once we're back in the proverbial saddle I'm going to sell off around half the holding and diversify that. Just don't want to be "that guy" that sells off at a low. heh

10Y right back to yesterday's highs, following the PPI data. Bond market isn't fucking around.
Really watching TLT and DXY closely. There is no hope if they don't begin to reverse. This morning data clearly didn't deter dollar str and bond weakness

FED cut rates in Sept, Nov and Dec.
30-yr Mortgage rates are now now higher than before they cut rates 3 times.

yeah A7s and A8s are pretty big too but in general, when I think of Audis or Teslas I think of tiny cars.
They aren't. Especially the MS and MX. Even the MY has a ton of room in it. I cant speak to a Cybertruck because I haven't been in one yet.

Audis top selling models are the Q5 and Q7 which are certainly not small cars.

Teslas are surprisingly roomy inside since the floor is flat and the cockpit is so forward. Model 3/Y are about the same size as a BMW 3 series but with a lot more interior volume.

I was in a cyber truck a few weeks ago. we did 3 launches, it's bananas. i've been in fast cars, but this is just different. my brain felt like I was leaving 6 flags. everything inside is just designed by someone who didn't previously design cars. just the shape and function of everything. at no point did "this is how we did last year's car" end up in that thing. going from 'drive' to 'reverse' is just flipping the flow of the electricity. if you aren't at a complete stop and switch, ... you just switch. it's crazy. the few times i've been in the tesla sedans, they felt find leg room wise.

The power of IV. My MSTR puts expire this Friday. My strike is $225. Current share price is $342. That's about a 35% drop needed to get to my strike in 3 days. Puts are still selling for over 30 cents each. That's what a 102 IV will do.
