I played the remasters of Romancing Saga 2 and 3 in the past and liked both of them a lot, but RS1 was way more inaccessible and I kinda gave up on that one which is a bummer.
So is the whole game essentially about using basic attacks as much as you possibly can, constantly cycling through your weapons (and spells when you can spare the MP), dragging out encounters so that you can gain TP? Because that's what I got out of the demo's gameplay. I never played the originals, and I know this remake added BP restoration right before a boss (but also increased boss difficulty across the board to make up for it... so in effect the BP restoration really only makes it easier to get TP for stuff that costs BP to use), but still... I want to like the game enough to preorder it for Switch, but it seems like something that could become a slog long before you get to the end.
