The fact that legendary pictures is putting their money on this film, I'm pretty sure it's going to be good.
They've only invested in a few flops.
I can't imagine this is going to be one of them, especially with the same company that made animatronics for the first film, as well as IL&M, and the visual effects supervisor is the same guy that did the first film. And the guy they have doing the score, well he isn't john williams or Hans Zimmer, he's not going to do anything unique or memorable, but it won't stand out as a bad part of the film.
And the casting seems to be good...
Only thing I have doubts about... the plot of using trained raptors like tigers, just ... doesn't fit the theme that Crichton shoved into every novel... you can't control biology, random mutations cause big ripples... trained raptors.... just no... I anticipate cringing at all the scenes Siegfried and Roy type antics... especially when it's hilarious how well that turned out for the famous tiger-tamers.
