I think the scene with the people running and getting carried off by pterodactyls shows just how unnecessary the whole genetically modified dinosaur plot is. I'd have a lot more optimism for this movie if the focus on the park breaking down after it is successfully opened rather than Super Godzilla being created.

I'm looking forward to this of course. But I don't get why these idiots would have their gene-splicing mad scientist lab on the same fucking island as your Dino Disney park. Even Lost World figured that one out. Keep your spooky research... literally anywhere else lol.

Basically every dinosaur in JP is already genetically spliced monstrosity. They just added more seasoning on this one. Ain't no different.

The fact that legendary pictures is putting their money on this film, I'm pretty sure it's going to be good.

They've only invested in a few flops.

I can't imagine this is going to be one of them, especially with the same company that made animatronics for the first film, as well as IL&M, and the visual effects supervisor is the same guy that did the first film. And the guy they have doing the score, well he isn't john williams or Hans Zimmer, he's not going to do anything unique or memorable, but it won't stand out as a bad part of the film.

And the casting seems to be good...

Only thing I have doubts about... the plot of using trained raptors like tigers, just ... doesn't fit the theme that Crichton shoved into every novel... you can't control biology, random mutations cause big ripples... trained raptors.... just no... I anticipate cringing at all the scenes Siegfried and Roy type antics... especially when it's hilarious how well that turned out for the famous tiger-tamers.
