In the books, the raptors were super smart to the point of being the true extinction of dinosaurs. Having them train humans to take out their biggest threat would actually make sense.

That dino toy, doesn't look balanced.
Shouldn't the tail have way more meat to it. As it sort of acts as a counter-balance for what's in front of the legs / hips. That thing would have all sorts of trouble running or leaning forwards. It would just fall flat on its face.
But that's just a toy, the biting & scratching features might have been exaggerated for it.
