I saw this as a comment on a daily beast article

"apparently in Florida - the Jury will get the option for "Lesser Charges" but they won't be told the possible sentencing guidelines for the lessers - so they may say that he did not commit 2nd degree murder but they may want to punish him for something and convict him of manslaughter without understanding that manslaughter in Florida may well be almost an equivalent sentence."

It's like the principal trying to trick a 10 year old into waiving their rights and not letting them have anyone to ask if that's reasonable.

Well, yeah, why shouldn't she? Money being made off her son's name should go to her and not ransom hype-leechers. What doesn't make sense is that she only trademarked the use of the phrases "I am Trayvon" and "Justice for Trayvon" on CDs and DVDs. She still gets nothing for T-shirts, hoodies or pins, which is presumably where the majority of sales are being made.
