If Casey Anthony walked, and GZ gets nailed with child abuse/murder 3, I am gonna totally ChimpoutT or maybe Crackout?. For real though, that would be fucking ridiculous. Just shows how corrupt our legal system can be. I really hope that if he is convicted though, that it sparks society to look at fixing some broken aspects of our system, and hopefully weeding out some of the crooked good ol boys, as there are tons and tons in our system. Most people don't see how messed up the system is because the average person probably never goes to court, but there is a shitton of prosecutorial misconduct in SA offices, and a large chunk of judges, are ex-prosecutors from the SA office...

Your suburb whites won't riot for anything, ever. You might have a few redneck whites doing a few protests/marches that will probably fizzle out fast. I could see some mexicans maybe, but they probably wont give a shit because they don't seem to get nearly as caught up in all this race war bullshit like the blacks do. They don't scream racism at everything that is done to them.
i hope every store gets an armed guard with a automatic weapon, i would have liked to see him saw down all those American Inventors as they ran through the door.

Was Zimmerman in the act of committing a felony at the time he killed Martin? Of course not. It sounds like what the prosecution is trying to say is that the act of defending himself is child abuse and because child abuse is a felony the death of Martin makes it felony murder. It's ridiculous bootstrapping and an attempt to confuse the jurors. Either you think Zimmerman was justified in using deadly force or you do not. That's all the case is about and it's all the case has ever been about. Saying that well, what happened here was Zimmerman abusing a child who then died thus felony murder is both ridiculous and unethical. I remember yesterday when the defense was arguing for a dismissal and the judge said that enough evidence had been established to let the jury decide. Fine. Oh wait, it's felony murder now? Since when? 7:30 a.m. the next day?
The lesson of this trial to me is that if people with clout want to see you burn than you will burn. As I sit here I absolutely believe that Zimmerman is going to get 20 years on this. He'll be found guilty of something something with a boosted penalty for use of a firearm. The media turned this into a gigantic race issue that got some powerful people moving and now this guy is going to go away for a very long time even when the threshold of proof beyond a reasonable doubt for murder in the first degree wasn't met.

There wasn't enough evidence for the police to even establish probable cause for an arrest but you put a couple smart lawyers together and a sympathetic judge and you can find something to pin on the dude, burden of proof be damned. We want you to go down and you sir are going to go down.

Funny you should bring that up. On a recent trip to Central America that is exactly what they have down there. Any store that is doing cash transactions and actually making money has at least 1 and many times more armed guards with sawed off pistol grip shotguns, and pistols. For example at the McDonalds I went to on the way back to the airport, there were 2 armed guards in the parking lot, and 1 inside the building. Guns work, more guns = less crime. The problem with implementing something like that here is the cost. Where I was visiting the guards were making the equivalent of $400 a month roughly. Here in the USA an armed guard would cost several thousand $ per month.

I said it yesterday but I wouldn't want to be a male on trial for killing a kid with an all female jury, circumstances be damned.
There's no good outcome to this. None. If he is found not guilty and set free innocent people are probably going to get hurt due to the backlash.

What's sad is that the media has no liability here. If not for them, this case wouldn't be an issue and we'd all be talking about something else right now. I'm a staunch supporter of the 1st amendment, but everything that's wrong with this case has just been caused and continually whore-mongered by the media.
i.e. they took a non-racial issue, and turned into a racial issue, inciting hatred, lied and made up facts to see fit, then covered the trial 24/7 while reaping highest ratings in years, all the while telling people who don't have time to watch the trial what to think about it.
