He can't really jungle at all. The shield recharge is too slow early on and his clear times are pretty bad. Combined with basically no CC for ganks it just isn't worth it.
Triforce seems amazing on him so far. Dash > auto > dash > auto is a lot of sheen procs. The only real problem with it is that shiv/trinity/infinity edge is too much crit, and both shiv and infinity seem pretty much mandatory for him.

He can still do damage, sure, but he's like Shyvana kinda with 0 cc when he enters a lane. His dash helps him close the gap of course, similar to Shyvana's Dragon form, except he doesn't have any other speed-up. You wont be getting off a knockup+ultimate until you can Q at least a couple times first. Junglers typically need an instant lockdown to secure ganks, you normally can't get in melee range and stay there long enough to build up Q stacks. His dash also doesn't compare with other assassins like Akali, Kha Zix, Diana, & Zed. The range is much shorter.
His Q should proc Triforce too.
@Fawe: Yeah he should never jungle at all, but his ganks could work but only once you're geared which means your probably out of the laning phase anyway. The one thing though is that he pushes lane pretty fast from what I see.

Not sure if you guys know but the first LCS game of Season 4 has begun, the EU Promotion Tournament. It's MYM vs CW right now... I can't believe Mundo is back in the competitive scene. Last time I saw Mundo in LCS was the Season 2 World Championship... I even have the TPA skin for him lol. I hate playing against Mundo... I sure hope he doesn't become a must-pick in SoloQ... I've already been seeing him more than I'd like.
I love playing Mundo top, but you need a good team because it's hard to snowball him unless your opponent sucks or you have good gank support.

Is it just me, or does his q not behave like other spells with smartcast? Holding q does not keep the ability from going off. Am I missing something?

The only way to dumb cast his q is to click the button with the mouse I believe, kinda like Karthus/Cass q's.

It's funny because (don't hate me) but double warmogs is god awful...but because of Vlad's passive it actually gives him a pretty hefty amount of AP as well. At least you got Revolver (wota) and Zhoynas, which are both core on him.Just had a very fun Vlad top game. It was a legit 4v5 win.
And yes, I had a funky build because I just had to live through team fights. Less pew pew and more sustain.

Relative to oblios experience with the game that isn't too shabby. Also lol at mundo top. I stop playing for a couple weeks because of BF4 and all I'm seeing are manaless sustain champs top now. Because it was 4v5 I was unable to split push very much. I also had their jungle in my ass for half the laning phase, because I guess Vlad is a hard counter to Olaf. I basically farmed under/near my turret until for the whole laning phase and got out 0-0-0. I had Olaf to 50 health two different times.
I usually do run flash on Vlad I just didn't click it in time realize and click in time.
And lastly, I too the Double Mogs for the reasons I stated above also know I would get ap bonus out them.

haha, usually I don't hate at all, I blame the booze. I also play Vlad a lot and that farm is pretty low. But he was doing 4v5 and said he was getting camped a lot to it makes sense why it's lower. It's funny though because I don't think I've build a warmogs yet this pre-season....shit, I actually can't recall the last time i've built a warmogs...maybe like 6 months ago when I use to jungle mundo lol.
Either way, keep it up Oblio, for someone who just started up not that long ago (I hope I"m thinking of the right person lol) you're actually doing very well.
