Quinn's pretty lackluster. She's alright but she doesn't have a niche so doesn't really have a reason to be played over the existing ADCs. I've seen several Quinns played top and the players swear she's amazing top but they've all been failures. I don't know where that myth got popular but it's bullshit. If you want to do something a little crazy and use an ADC top lane there are much better ones than Quinn.

I dominated a nidalee top lane with Quinn but it was a 4v5 game and we lost anyways.
I have played like 14 games with Quinn and usually start off very strong but there is some serious lacking at end game. I feel like Quinn should be very strong, just can't seem to unlock the potential. I think the issue is she is an ADC/Assassin hybrid but lacks any serious AoE abilities typical with other assassins and ADCs. She is a great duelist but barely contributes in a team fight.

(Quinn's Q is an AoE ability with blind but is very hard to blind the pertinent targets and since it's not very spammable the damage output is not the best.)

It seems to me riot is releasing under powered champs and then tweaking them up as of late. Darius was like the last really op as fuck champ that needed tuned down right after release. Where as now champs get released and it seems like they need some buffs to really get up to the rest of champs.

Or people don't know the best builds yet. I feel like Quinn is a great laning ADC and will win lane vs mostly every other ADC (depending on supports), but I also think Quinn as a bruiser top with more tanky could actually work best. Right now going ADC build just doesnt work for Quinn cause in teamfights she has very short range and her Ult puts her in melee assassin mode. She needs to be more tanky. Bruiser Quinn could be very good, just haven't tested atm. I like her kit a lot though, blind, slow, movement speed... it's nice.

Vi is borderline OP and I don't think she was changed much since release, players just started realizing that she excels in jungle and doesn't need much to do serious damage. I feel like Quinn is in the same boat, her passive actually allows her to do decent chunks of damage kinda like Vi's W.

That seems like the cycle, honestly. I thought the same thing a while back, and then they released someone else that was OP for a couple weeks. I personally, think they do a rather good job of trying to balance out new champs. Especially after regarding the pace at which they release them. If they did release every character in an OP state; imagine the cries from the community about being Riot being greedy etc.

Actually, I think it's the opposite. Other than Quinn, the newer champs that you see played a lot in tournies seem to be really OP. So people see the streams, they buy the chars, play them, then they get brought down to a better level.

Elise is still probably OP, since you can build her completely tanky and she'll still chomp you. Rengar and Renekton are similar, as well as chars like Volibear. I think this is probably only prevalent with the bruiser types though. I've been doing a lot of Volibear jungle lately, and good god. I find Elise to be a better mid than Diana or Karthus, who I would normally play mid.

Volibear is just ri-goddamn-diculous. I have no idea why he gets to be that chomp/tanky and then also has CC and the ability to flip your ass under a turret. I mean I love it, and I seriously want a winnie the pooh skin where thunder claws becomes sticky paws, but jebus. We did a bot lane against a Voli + uh, I can't actually remember. Varus maybe, and we got trounced. We're not really good bot though; it's not something we often play.

New BoTRK is making league of bruisers pretty funny right now. People are shocked they have to actually build armor again.

Bruisers? Its damn op for just about everyone that auto attacks atm. Its spell is really good, its effect is good, its cheap, and its got great stats for the chars its intended for. Its quickly starting to become league of botrk much like league of cleavers at start of season. Its basically must have on all sustain dps chars. (Jax style bruisers, all ranged ads especially.)

I was more talking about how its currently destroying all the zombie health stackers and slapping a mogs/insertothergiantsbeltitemhere doesn't make you a mid to late game god.

I agree that health stacking was just too good and too easy, but creating so potent an item to counter an item, and thus really boost the power curve on specific champions makes a lot less sense than adjusting health values and more broad application of buffs to damage. The biggest problem in general was that warmogs simply gives way too much health for its cost. No doubt there was a problem, they just took an entirely wrong approach about it, by doing little to fix the problem, and giving characters that benefit from that and the new item buff yet another way to scale incredibly. Jax in particular is extremely strong in the meta.

Yup, Botrk better get nerfed soon. It's amazing on just about every ADC. Just had like a 18 kill Vayne game where I first item Botrk and it was pretty much game over after that point.

Why does it give so much life steal and attack speed? Why does it have a 15% max hp nuke? Why does it steal movement speed and give it to you? There just isn't a point to get Bloodthirster now unless it's a 5th or 6th item imo. The only ADC I could maybe still see grabbing a BT first on is Graves and that's just because Graves will want the extra AD since it makes his burst that much more insane.

ffs, how could Riot let this item make it through their balance testing, it's so damn op.

BotRK was decent before the buff, but people had some bigotry against it or something. With the buff it's absolutely INSANE, obviously. It's pretty much Black Cleaver all over again.

Hahah just went Kha mid against a ryze, got a neat first blood in their jung when Vi let me see her at 30% health going to wraiths. BoRTK first buy and lane over for ryze. Honestly, the item won't make it past the next patch without a nerf. All the high elo streamers are spamming bladed in all chat as they rush to the item. Going to grab some free division boosts out of it though since people haven't caught on in silver yet it seems. Ride the bitch until it breaks says I.

I was playing duo ranked with adc/support and my adc buddy was playing tristana mostly. Because of her attack speed pros were already using BotRK on her for the passive. Now that she has even more innate attack speed AND the buffed BotRK she's just insane now. He was even building BotRK then BT 2nd for 33% life steal and just dueling everyone into the ground in mid game while he built IE. Shit's so OP.

So now that we've got all the BoTRK OP posts out of the way.

ADCs that it makes top picks now? Enob already mentioned the obvious in trist who already made good use of the old version. I also think Vayne and Graves are going to benefit massively from it as they are more short range/duel oriented ADCs. Might mean I see something other then EZ/Cait in every game now. Which would be nice.

Ez and Cait are both very ability oriented champs and longer range so harder to hit the activatable or make good use of the passive. My 2nd pick for OP would be Miss Fortune as she was already heavy auto attack biased outside of her ult and her range works well with the blade's active. I think Graves will love it especially with the % based activate adding to his already awesome burst. I could also see it being a game changer for Urgot as he usually builds somewhat tanky for his position swap. It'll give him the good % damage from it's active and passive that will allow him to do much more damage than he used to while still retaining the same tankiness. Really it's just amazing for any ADC that isn't Ez, Cait, or Kog and it's still great for them too.

Just played against a Singed top as jungle Xin and it's hilarious how fucked Singed is now. His HP was his biggest boon and now with 2-4 BotRK on your team he just falls over.

I've been building BotRK on MF even before the update so this just makes it better, I build it on Quinn every game too. It is really really good for MF because now you can build for max ulti damage and still have attack speed buff, before you had to decide if you rather be a autoattacker or ulti-bot (build attack speed, or not). This item basically means no more need to worry about the decision. MF never needed PD or Shiv before, you saw most pros not get them in favor of a stronger ulti, I would go 1 route or the other depending on team comp. (If lots of team fights, go for the ulti power, if lots of splitting up, go for duelist).

This item is just so good on lots of champs now.

I was building it on Vi almost every game before the update too, now even moreso, the attack speed helps proc more W's.

I've been playing a lot of kha zix recently and do not build it on him since Kha Zix isn't an autoattacker. He's an AD mage.

Friends and I have been doing league of bruisers ranked 5s... pretty hilarious. All pick bruisers with a kill lane bot and just steam roll. Granted we just started so only in silver 2... but so far its a lot of fun and has worked really well.
