Ya, by far. Like someone else mentioned earlier I believe, NA is making a strive forward and getting better but is still way behind Europe/Asia. We don't really have any real innovators at any position. I think we will get crushed at all-stars.

It's hard to innovate when the level of competition in NA doesn't require it. Hell, Dyrus claimed they went 5-0 this week because he turned his volume down in game. o_O

Started watching VoDs from the Asian scene and they just seem to play a much looser game. Every NA and to a certain extent EU LCS game that I've watched is laning in to team fight positioning with one team possibly trying for a split push during the positioning. The Asians seem to be much more in to the small scale roams with a lot of 2v2s or 3v2s breaking out while trying to out position for objectives. Much more exciting to watch in my opinion. They of course do eventually get in to the team fight mentality if the game goes on for long enough, but not as soon early towers drop/Baron pops up. Also fun to watch a lot of two or three man Baron sneaks that the Asian teams like to pull off.

I agree the Asian team style is different and probably more entertaining. But they also appear to be way ahead mechanically. Maybe that small engagement style makes individually strong plays more apparent. Or maybe even happen more often? More opportunity for 'cool stuff' so we see them as stronger players?

Oh I don't think there is any doubt that they are much stronger mechanically. Just the practice time they have to put in as part of the pro gaming culture there ensures that. But yes I also think it relates to the play style as well, much more room for improvisation like those great Lee Sin/Thresh plays we've had posted when you are dealing with a mobile game and smaller engagements. When everyone is dry humping the Baron pit for a fight the lee Sin just gets insta gibbed by the enemy team because of concentration of CC/Firepower.

Exactly. I think this is what makes asian teams superior. All of the small skirmishing means they absolutely cannot have bad mechanics otherwise they would consistently lose those skirmishes. This also makes for better play from them when say an NA team tries to 2v1 or 3v2 them as it is the norm for them and it wouldn't surprise them to come out on top or make a big play.

Speaking of asia... the korean all-star team
http://imgur.com/Pq4GUZp

Top: Shy (CJ Entus Frost)
Mid: Ambition (Cj Entus Blaze)
Jungler: Insec (KT Rolster B)
AD: Pray (Naijin Sword)
Support: Madlife (CJ Entus Frost)

From what I can gather from watching the occasional korean vid, I agree with Jungler, Support and Top (though I thought maknoon would have won that). Only reason I can't fully agree with Mid and AD, is my lack of player specific knowledge though. I've seen both Pray and Ambition do well, just not many other players even stand out in my mind (just CptJack, possibly).

In any case, yea... I'd take that lineup as a huge favorite to win against anyone but the Indo-Pacific or Chinese teams, not even knowing their lineups yet. I still think the Indo-Pacific team should just be Taipei Assassins and they'd have a huge edge on the other teams. Actually, might be more fair to max it at 3 players from them, 1 from Singapore Sentinels and 1 Ahq e-sports, haha.

Shit, I just want to watch Madlife play against all these other allstar teams. Hope we see some insane support play from him.

I still have faith in my boys from NA. They are even going to bootcamp beforehand! I mean, come on, they're gonna crush!

Ya I want to see madlife as well, and I am also looking forward to watching edward. As far as the whole "smite wars" debate, I feel it is bigger than we make it out to be with all the contesting for objectives that goes on these days. Yes, I agree there is another huge part of the game which is what else they do in the jungle, how they react, when they gank etc, but some of the top junglers we are talking about absolutely take advantage of smite.

You don't think the asian are going to practice together? I bet they will practice together more than the NA team, we just won't hear about it.

If your post was meant as sarcastic, sorry.. was on the fence if it was or not

I need a Master class in this game, I swear. I can't tell what's genuinely my fault, and what's just people bitching for the sake of it.

A lot of it is really debatable to be honest. Get lol replay and watch your recordings if you are serious about wanting to see what you did wrong. In the heat of the moment its hard to be objective about a decision you made.

Or don't bother downloading LoLReplay because it hasn't worked since the creator went on vacation at the beginning of the month and hasn't been able to update it to work with the current patch. Riot is working on their own in game recording system that we will hopefully see sometime soon(tm).

It works if you just repair your games. I have no problem watching my replays.
Anything else you have to do? I've tried that and depending on the age of the match I either get a "missing .exe" message or the game tries to start and I get a "cannot connect to the server" message. It seems like each replay is tied to a different version lol.exe and I am missing some. Tried reinstalling already.

My LoLreplay isn't recording any of my games since the beginning of April.

Edit: It looks like it has recorded 4 of my 40-50 games this month. If you read the website the author has a post about it.

I have no problem watching my old replays, though!

Sounds reasonable, but I still wouldn't be able to see why something was "omg, taric you so bad" when I go 1/3/19 for a win.... and my team STILL ask to report me.

Only started playing again to brush up on my champ knowledge in hopes these Australian servers are real and happen soon. The constant abuse (in normals) is starting to wear on me though.
