I haven't found anything in the "omfg I must have this, take my money now!" category but...
Some more rune pages would be kinda nice I admit.

Man.. had a refreshing change in a game for once. I end up playing support a lot because no one else wants to, which is fine.. but it seems like so many players are so focused on KDA, the support and jungler never get credit when they do well and always get blamed when the team fails. Like, no one ever realizes that the gank they just got was due to a ward catching someone out, so the support doesn't get any credit. They only notice when they overextend into an area with no vision, get ganked and didn't see it so they bitch about ward coverage. Meanwhile, if I go that deep to ward I get caught half the time and die, so then I suck for dying, but no one wants to cover a support to place wards, etc..

But, this one game, I'm playing soraka with an ezreal in bot lane, and he just can't follow up on the crazy amount of harass I put out for him to capitalize into some kills (they kept getting away with 10% or less due to him missing skillshots or being slow to respond to the harass). He starts raging at me in mid game when I'm not sticking to his ass and trying to support team instead, as if I have any peel to save him from over extending anyways. We lose, and he's asking other team to report me. Entire other team is like 'wtf? Soraka was your best player that game, you fucking suck at laning and made a bunch of dumb moves'. So, supposedly they all reported him instead lol. Sad that the OTHER team managed to notice a good support and my own team rarely does, but still.

I play a lot of support when I can't jungle and that is how it goes usually. The enemy team knows when you saved somebody or set up an easy kill because its happening to them, your team just notices the mistakes. I can't count how many times I've ran a support score along the lines of 2-1-23 and all my team and the enemy team (sometimes) can talk about is "Dat Draven". Yah he ended 16-4-12, but how do you think he got started? Or lived through team fights. Its the life of a support.

God damn, how many hundreds of dollars have y'all dropped on this game? Haha. I felt guilty buying the starter pack, but it was more than worth it being able to try new champs. Morganna, Nasus, and Teemo have kept me happy all day.
I really don't know but it's more than I would tell someone I know who doesn't game.

Tru dat son.

Thing is, and it's sort of a detriment to me at the lower ELO levels, I watch a bunch of pro games/streams. I think I often focus on the intangibles of the game, such as ward placement, map control, dragon/tower pressure, etc.. but the rest of my team is playing deathmatch Call of Duty. Now, you can still win just playing 'see hero, kill hero, ignore everything else until heroes are dead' if everyone is on the same page, but it's harder so I'm looking at the other things and the team is not.

Had a game where I'm top and they try to gank me 4 times in first 10 mins, 2 of which end up being successful and then their top (yi) snowballs too much for me to 1v1 anymore. One of these ganks was the jungler and mid coming top. When this happened, our mid, malzahar, did ping that mid was missing but then when the enemy mid and jungler are showing top, he's got a huge minion wave on the tower and rather then trying to take the tower he recalls at full health. It ends up living at 30% health, I ask him why he didn't try to take tower and he goes 'lol I only have 60ad what is that gonna do?'. He has a 2nd chance to take it, with a smaller minion wave and the enemy mid just showed near top by my ward, and he AGAIN backs at full health. But, since he had 10 more CS then diana, and her only kill was on me, he 'won' his lane and I suck and should uninstall for feeding.. :-/

It's like no league players understand cause and effect. "I always win my lane, it's my horrible teammates that keep me down" Bitch, are you doing anything OTHER than winning your lane? Do you make plays to help your team at all when you're ahead? No? Then you suck.

Yeah, the type of objective based and map awareness focus is pretty hit or miss in ranked, especially if you're on the lower tier. I actually played a ranked game today as support - saw the enemy support roam mid but followed right behind and wound up helping the jungler get a double kill really early (he ended up carrying pretty hard mid game) - and actually got acknowledged for it. So often though you will see people leave lane and the opponent will not follow them, and often not even press the advantage in lane to make up for it. Really sucks. Only thing I can say is ask the lane responsible to ward decently to see where the person is probably roaming.. and to follow them if so. But people get really pissy if you happen to comment on any flaw in their gameplay.. then throw on purpose or just try to find a way to put you down for a mistake. Sucks. Having someone to queue with in your elo range helps a ton if you're not duo'ing already.

It's funny because one game I remember the most was I was playing Janna and it was 2 (yes only 2) players on the enemy team actually typed out "gg janna carry" as they surrendered. Only reason I remember it so well was because I was laning with a cait bottom and we dominated our lane. I then got an early oracles and was able to roam because Cait was never in any danger. I end up helping our top lane a ton (it was an enemy akali) and since I had oracles it was usually always a free kill.

Although, I tend to try to be nice to supports if I notice they are doing a good job. It's definitely noticeable when you actually get a support that keeps wards down, buys aura items and pings the map constantly. Nothing is more frustrating to me to see a support with only 1 ward in his inventory, no sightstone and he has something shitty in his inventory like a chain vest or something retarded like that. Makes me rage hard.

Speaking of Janna, I've gotten into the habit of building more AP & CDR, while still filling the ward bitch role. Having a moderate amount of AP + 40% CDR on a support janna is amazing since her whole kit gives so much protection or CC and it means she always has skills up usually. I'll end up going Rejuv or Mana Pendant + 3 or 4 wards + pots to start. Then slowly build up towards Kages, then codex, then finish morellos. All the while I'll still be buying wards constantly, it kind of tough if you aren't getting any kills or assists but at least having the early kages helps with some gold. After Morellos usually you need to grab the Sightstone for more HP + Wards. Then grab CDR Boots. With Morellos + CDR Boots + Masteries you should have 40%. After that it kind of depends, grab another kages and get Twin shadows for another slow/vision. Grab stuff for an aegis (although the jungler probably should have one by now) or can go towards Locket. (Although if you go Locket you don't need CDR boots)

It's really fun, makes you hard as hell to kill. Just make sure you keep buying wards, don't be a bitch.

On most of the supports I play, I rush a philo to basically pay for wards even if I'm not getting assists and team isn't getting objectives. I've started going kage's as well on two of my main supports (soraka, sona, but not taric) for a similar reason. I'll often start off with rejuv bead + pendant and 2 wards, then on my first recall complete the philo and buy more wards. Getting that extra money rolling early always helps mid game. Since the main supports I play all have a heal, I don't generally need the couple health pots that most supports buy. Next item is generally sightstone, but if I get a couple assists or early tower/dragon, I try to fit in a kage's somewhere between buying tier2 boots or upgrading sightstone. There's no other big impact item in that price range, other then completing reverie, which I often find I'm completing too early for big team fights if I rush it before a kage's, and have enough to finish it by the time we really need it with the double gp/10 items rolling anyways.

Whenever I support I start 4 wards rejuv health pot. Get some decent harass if I am lulu or janna, build a philo. Keep tri and river warded while lane bush warded sometimes, get my kages. Sightstone follows, then usually the cdr boots and the ghost item kages builds out of.

Ya I have been playing for awhile as well and I just enjoy the different look of the skins. I am unsure if that score takes in to account the rune pages but I am maxed on rune pages. If you do some easy math and just say it is $5 a skin there are 100 champs you are looking at an easy $500 as I have at least 1 skin for every champ. Obviously there are more champs than 100 and there are more expensive skins but it gives you a base idea. I also really hate the base models for most champions.

Ya know, I absolutely hate playing support with randoms usually, but I was noticing because I was duoing with a friend for a bit that I have pretty high wins rates with the supports vs the carries I play. I enjoy supporting when I know I can count on the adc to carry. The crazy awesome plays mean that much more on a support when the adc can take advantage of it. We also play a very aggressive bot lane usually with draven or varus as I am by no means a passive player.

@Sidian, in a normal you would certainly hate me as I refuse to play support in normals... so I will oblige and go bot but I am by no means playing a support nor am I holding back on kills. So I will play the panth, fiddle, elise, brand, etc types and only buy wards here and there if any.

Fuck yes, promoted to gold. Hnnng.

Promotion matches went like this:
Game 1: Forced into mid even though I didn't want to(my mid isn't as strong as I thought against higher level players). Took Swain. Got first blood and another kill on mid. Pushed out an early zhonya because mummy had a boner for me and I was our initiate by catching someone. Ended up not getting another kill and dieing 9 times in teamfights and at objectives like dragon/baron/blue buff. Played horribly, deserved the loss. However our jungle didn't come mid once because he said "swain is horrible and I don't gank for them". Needless to say, that was a loss.
Game 2: ADC as Draven with no support. Had Ryze/Kassadin mid, Elise jungle and Jayce top. Bot was a nightmare against LeBlance support and MF. However, Elise was a champion and kept ganking bot so when lane phase was over I was 1-0-6 and on par with MFs cs. Snowballed beyond belief and herp derped in teamfights. Surprising win.
Game 3: Top as Elise. We had a Jayce support for Graves that somehow worked. Wierd game for sure but by the end I was instagibbing people with my combo.
Game 4: ADC as Draven. No trolls, just straight steamrolling. Twitch/Sona grabbed an early kill on me but we were able to turn it around and just pound them, start my snowball and win.

Cannot even begin to express how happy I am with that series.

I liked what you tried to do with the zhonya against Amumu there.

I'm working on playing support Zyra, and her weakness is definitely "all-in" support types like Leona.

She definitely doesn't seal the deal on her skill shots as hard as Blitz, but the poke game is ideal.

Might just take Thresh and come back to Zyra later.

Congrats! My husband just did that grind so I know what a bitch it is. How bad was the clamping for you? He was on a win streak and was only gaining 1 lp per win through the 90s. Apparently the system really hates win streaks and punishes bad for it. By the time he got through his series to gold his MMR got to the point where he is playing with Gold 1 and 2 people. Made it through Gold 5 with only like 5 games, it was pretty crazy. The system is a bit retarded with that silver to gold grind, I bet you're relieved to be done with it. :p
