The Chinese ran like a well oiled machine. Everything was systematic and effective that they did, can't hate. Incredible play by both despite dat throw first game.

If Riot is looking to make some money... they need to put out an Eve and Rumble skin after this.

Yeah, I think NA would have been able to come back on that Game 1 if Saint didn't get caught when he did. Actually I'm confused why they all even engaged at that point. Dyrus could have ulted to safey and the rest of the team didn't have to go in. Still be a 4v5, maybe they would have lost that mid tower/inhib but they wouldn't have lost the game right then.

Game 2 I know NA had to do something because the scaling on the enemy team was much better, but tower diving 5v5 under a tower while the enemy team had baron buff? Like, wtf were they thinking.

I'm hoping NA can do a little run through the "losers bracket". I do think they are stronger then the EU team is atm.

NA made a couple mistakes which seemed amateur but a majority of their play was actually really good and it showed they were able to actually compete ... for a little while. I feel like NA just didnt have a plan in Game 2, they were gifted so many kills and were even ahead by like 7k+ gold, but they let it slip. Game 1 they were basically always behind and the baron steal *might* have put them back into the game if not for Saint's throw. I'd say Game 2 was a much bigger throw since they actually had the lead for the first 30+mins. It was frustrating watching them squander it.

It's true though, these games can be (too?) quickly decided by small mistakes or fractions of a second smite usage. But that can happen to the other team too after you make a mistake. Kinda like baseball... one dropped catch can score 2 runs and you are hurting fuckin bad. However, mistakes like the ones we just saw would just seem impossible for KR/China to make.

I will definitely say NA deserved to be in that game and could do it big coming back from losers with renewed vigor and an appreciation for just how strong these top Chinese picks are when they get their hands on them.

NA top lane lost game 1 and held for game 2. NA mid was a non factor both games. NA bot lane did well. Saint was counter jungled hard first game and threw top lane for Dyrus with that fail gank game 1. Saint is the weakest link. He needs to calm down and play a more confident and patient game. Scarra needs to play more aggressive and become a positive factor. Dyrus needs to just not lose.

I still think NA has a shot if they get their shit together and stop trying to force plays.

I just can't help but feel after watching the NA and EU games, even with all the prep they went through, with the tower dive against a Baroned up team and the picks in game two of the EU game, either the communication just wasn't there or they weren't taking these games that seriously. Given the stakes of having an extra team in the finals I was expecting more. That or the Asians are just lords of esports.

Guessing all the people that voted Doublelift in are second guessing themselves. The Asians just seem way more cohesive in team fights. A culture thing or a planning thing?

It just looked like NA and EU didn't take it seriously. The throws in the NA games and the picks in game 2 of the EU match were just ridiculous. Saintvicious backing in game 1 after a nice steal in a bronze 5 location... just unbelievable.

Amazing games so far...
Crazians beat everyone (as expected), US Team being a better team than EU Team (not surprised) and Doublelift being a fucking MONSTER with a real team around him.
Loving every minute of it !

Yeah that NA v EU series is totally worth watching even if you're usually not big on events, probably one of the most exciting ones I've ever watched.

Obviously amazing play by LiftLift yesterday and today, but the player that really stands out for me so far is Xpecial. Great lane play, some game changing lulu and thresh, and that first blood against China yesterday have really showcased his talents. Plus he's actually playing a variety of champs which you don't get to see out of his TSM games. Same with Dlift though, when did he play graves this season? Haha.

Doublelift's Vtec just kicked in yo. Hope they will fare better than EU did against the Koreans.

Edit: Looking at the brackets again I guess Korea plays the winner of this LPL vs GPL series and then NA plays the loser.
