- annie completely whiffed her ult on tryn.
- tryndamere ults to stop garens stab attack (wtf is that) and has ult ready for baron engage few seconds later? shit shoud still be on cooldown and why would you tryn ult on a baron attempt? dumb.

trailer looked like a typical pub game.

^ Her E didn't obey the global 40% cdr cap, so if your items go over that, her E would ignore the cap and use the full 100% cdr.

CLG Roster update:

Zachary "Nientonsoh" Malhas has joined CLG as our new starter in top lane
Steve "Chauster" Chau has moved from jungle to support
Miko "bigfatlp" Tang has rejoined the starting roster to fill the jungle role
Zaqueri "Aphromoo" Black has left CLG
George "HotshotGG" Georgallidis will now act as a substitute/coach for the starting roster, focus on the business side of CLG, and work to further the connection between the team and the community
The full CLG starting roster now stands: Link (mid), Nientonsoh (top), bigfatlp (jungle), Chauster (support), and Doublelift (AD)

WTF is that? Nientonsoh as top and jiji as jungle? Unreal.

Ya, that is a bit odd and I am unsure exactly how it is going to play out. It will certainly be interesting to see as changing shit this late in the game has got to have some team communication/cooperation issues.

My take on this is that GG doesn't think that CLG will make it through the next split with the team comp as it was. So fuck it, throw the best available players (mechanical skill) he could get to sign against the wall and hope they stick. If they don't and clg still gets relegated then he will have had the free time to focus on his brand instead of scrimming and he will more easily be able to pick up sponsorship of an up and comer in order to sustain his business.

but... why not megazero or nickwu for top?
MegaZero already said previously that he didn't want to play with clg because of the team atmosphere (lots of arguing and yelling), also he seems to be at least in my opinion really streaky. He either wins hard or loses hard, no middle ground. As for NickWu... did he win a lane in the LCS when he wasn't on broken ass Zed? Because if he did I don't remember it.

edit: Not that I think for a fact that Nien will be a good top, but mechanically he is miles ahead of any other available pick ups (with Lcs experience) he was a Diamond mid before becoming an NA pro level adc and a lot of people think the he was only second behind DoubleLift for pure carry potential at the end of the season. So maybe he's just really good in lane and can give Dyrus a run for his money as best Top NA down the road.

Jiji in the jungle? I dunno about that. I mean, it seems like CLG just views jungle as a low skill role that anyone can play. So just take a good player and plug them in.

I can see the point about Nickwu being bad, but still... It just seems silly to put someone who has never played top competitively into the position when they had someone who was okay already(hotshot). I dunno. Weird choices all around.

More importantly, Aphromoo is free to be picked up now and hopefully as an ADC! *cough* Curse *cough* (sorry to the Cop fans, I just think his stats benefited from the team doing well most of the season, and the 2v1s they constantly gifted them to make up for elementz handicap. i.e. he's highly overrated and the next weakest link after elementz, though Rhux is still an unknown quantity to me)

I'm a little surprised they dropped aphro, unless he chose to leave or Dlift said he wished chauster would go back to support. I thought he had been a pretty solid support, not top tier, but not bottom either.
Jiji coming back is also odd, as I thought he had admitted he'd lost some skill last season and stepped down from a starting role voluntarily.

In any case, HotshotGG stepping down to coach is the best move he could have made, whether the current players work in their role or at all. At the very least, he's removed himself from being a player and making biased decisions. He was generally the worst player on the team now and often was solely responsible for throwing the game or causing a loss through some other means (like losing a lane he should win). That alone is a big improvement to the team, and gives them way more options towards improving in the future.

But... seriously, hope aphromoo finds a good team. He's a lot like Dlift in that he's never had enough sufficiently good players on his team to take pressure off him. Mandatorycloud was solid when they were together, but not quite as ridiculous as he was in the 2nd half of the recent LCS split, and the rest of the team was always subpar. So, other teams often focused on shutting down Aphromoo and then Mancloud couldn't carry hard enough himself. He also needs an aggressive support with very good mechanics and I think he'd dominate.

Back when hotshot would stream he would sometimes just talk about the community, esports, what was happening in the game, etc. and I always thought he had some real insight. If he's going to focus on the business side I really do believe he's going to be great at it and a much greater asset to the team and League as a whole.

I don't think Aphro is that good of an adc. He capitalizes on mistakes and is aggressive, but he is hit or miss and isn't guaranteed to win his lane.

What you have to remember with Aphro is that he was a very popular streamer top of the ladder up and coming hot prospect player that got picked up to play support rather than ADC. His play in that role has never been tempered in the competitive environment. Think of him like a rookie with promise.

Well, the majority of times I saw him lose his lane while playing adc, it was because of jungle and/or mid gank pressure setting him behind. His mechanics are very good, he pulls off some amazing plays at times.

I just had a wonderful game where my evelynn suicided into their team twice to throw away our lead so its not just you. Seems my games have been really hit or miss, but then again I haven't really been playing as much as I used to.

Whenever there's a lack of other games, pop #'s inflate greatly on LoL and with the #'s come all the horrors of the lowest common denominator (people going for the kill at any expense). My mentality (that falters often at times until the next day) is to look at aiming for 55% over 1000ish games to gold. Also, find a regular duo partner.

Sure, we'll carry games and take 4 kills and our tower before 20mins... then we'll have two people constantly trying to go 1v5 poking and getting caught wondering why "we didn't help".. just gotta point out they can't poke 1v5 and hope you're on the better side of the queue next time around. We went 1-1 last night and I think I still lost 5, but whatevs. We see an upward trend and just take it in stride. I'm definitely the one who gets more frustrated of the two, so maybe this advice comes better from me than someone with a cooler head about things.

It always seems like it coincides with big events and highschool/middle school being in session. It blows my mind how people that cannot spell simple words make it to the gold1 area. My MMR is down from plat players to gold 3-5 and its seriously making me wish I could execute people through the screen.
