Also, I am always amazed at the level of unskilled plays people perform in silver.
TF literally stays mid all game and ults 2x in the 1st 15 min, both to chase after his mid lane that already killed bot lane to kill her (Cass) and ends up dying too.

Looking to get some views on the games I play from someone that preferably knows what they are doing.
Things that I do..
Ward my area (Top mid bot-support)
Keep my lane gankable
Push it before a buy (not applicable all the time)
Things that I feel weak on..
Roaming WITH my lane if they roam
Roaming in general (getting better about it, assisting on a lane like top if I'm mid)
Late game warding (I try to keep certain spots warded, but if they are covered I hold them)
Sometimes throw away an early lead from a gank
I just feel like I'm missing a lot of things on this list that make me either a par or sub par player.
Lane wise, I usually do well and with one successful gank I usually hold onto my lane til after lane phase is over.

There are just a couple things about league that really get at me:
Why when I duo am I always first and my duo last or when I duo with a similar ranked friend we always seem to be the last 2? Just seems stupid in my opinion. I understand the scaling which puts you at the lower end, but you duo because you are confident you are playing with another well rounded player.
The Community! - Oh my god what the fuck. Either there is some complete asshole or there is a complete crybaby bitch in your game who yells report or afks if you tell them they've died 3 times top because they refuse to ward, so buy a ward.
Promos - Why when I get to promos does riot always give me the last fucking pick! I'll be consistent at being 1-3 and be granted AD most of the time, promo comes... LAST PICK, you're supporting bitch! It's my promo what the fuck, you're normally facing another person in promo, let me have the chance to win the game instead of trying to temper/manage it.

Oh I ward, if you were talking to me. I can't ward the entire map at 5 minutes though and that's a major issue with EVERY GODDAMN game I'm in.

Nah not you, wizardhawk or w/e, was just too lazy to put a name to the blame.
Just to mention on all of this Bronze/S IV and V being so hard. I used to think that, but I played some games on an alt account and my god people there are fucking shit. I was literally going 7-0 8-0 with mid 100 CS due to hunting people down by 20 and getting FF's. I'm no great player, but I do understand the game is more about CS and denying that actually landing kills later on. I guess I'm good enough to shit on bronze/S V, but even if I'm being beat in lane, if I just keep up in CS to a point and don't die (WARDS) you're fine. This is the main problem I see in bronze, everyone just wants a kill.

I like supporting because it's relaxing to me. I've been trying (in the last few days) to learn Top/Jungle because you can often use the same champs. This allows me to stave off boredom but learn the same champ. I picked up Elise last night (omg best champ ever) and I'll be getting Zac tonight.
In any case, I am trying to get comfortable in two roles this way when I eventually hit 30 I can play two roles and not go crazy if I don't get the one role I like.
Also, support can be fun if you play an aggressive champ that can fuck with people like Thresh. Playing Yorick support is fun in normals against noobs too.

Duos get a bonus to their ranking since they are paired (suppose to be +50 to ranking I think, could be different), so they will be paired with teammates who are a little bit better, that said, some examples:
1.) You are 1500 Elo, your partner is 1000 Elo, your pair's average is 1250 Elo, the system will pair you with 1300s (1250+50 = 1300). Since 1 of you is 1500, you will be captain, since partner is 1k, he will be last pick.
2.) You are 1500 Elo, your partner is 1490 Elo, your pair's average is 1495 Elo, the system will pair you with 1545s (1495+50 = 1545). Since you are both lower Elo then 1545 you'll be last 2 picks.
I have seen duos be 2nd & 3rd pick when watching streams, most likely because there are less people at high elo and the system uses a wider elo range to form groups.

Yeah I get how the duo works, but I just feel like there should be a higher chance of not getting hit with the last two picks, because you're typically duoing because you know or saw the other person do well in lane in another game.
I don't mind supporting at all either, I really enjoy playing Thresh, Nami, Leona, Ali, and the random Orianna. I just don't want to be a support in my promo games is all.

Yeah i've just been sticking with manamune since it's what is on the builds instead of archmage. I'm not so sure how archmage would work instead of manamune though, the extra damage on the manamune helps me more than I could see the shield helping since ryze is pretty tanky anyways.

Couple pages back it's diagnosed. Whether it's the norm or not I don't know, but at least that's what was done in that game. Must be a cocksucker trying to get those internets considering I rarely post outside of the sports section or in the leagues I play with those guys. You know me, gotta get that rep.

Oh, I bet you're another one of those guys who wards where wards aren't needed just so you can claim "lol 20 wards per game and i play adc".
On the other hand, I feel special that someone who rarely posts outside of sports took his time to come to the LoL thread, skim through, pick up on someone saying I don't ward and then jump in to add his 2 cents on how bad I am.

Are you serious? I would rather have people warding inane bullshit than nothing at all.
A ward directly in dragon pit when its down? doesn't say much but you can see MAYBE if someone passes by dragon.
A ward on your own blue? tells you if someone is countering you or counter warding.
A ward on your ghouls? See above
A ward ANYWHERE in your own jungle? See above above
A ward does one thing, tells you where the enemy isn't.
If they aren't visible by wards, they are somewhere that is unseen to you. Sounds kinda like a "DERP" statement to be made but lets make an assumption:
It is 20 min, Mid 2 turrets are down, baron is up, dragon is up.
Wards: Their blue, their blue mid lane, bot lane dragon, bot lane tri, top lane river, your blue, mid lane baron side.
Lane status: top pushed your side, mid pushed their side 2nd turret, bot push equal.
You keep seeing people file in and out of the mid baron ward but then they go back to the enemy red.
you never see people blue side...
This reasonably tells you that MOST of their team is baron side of the map and you SHOULD get vision asap.

The above aside, if you ever jungle fight drop wards like there is no tomorrow. every brush nearby SHOULD be warded. you want to see over walls into bushes and everythign so you know positioning.
