Notquite- cancer-related snake oil bollocks affects 1) the person suffering from cancer & 2) friends and family of that person. Antivax does thatandfucks up herd immunity.

It doesn't seem like you could "cure" cancer. My understanding is very basic, but isn't cancer operating from the same basis as our evolutionary process? I mean, we're close to just completely taking over how our evolution works, but we're not there yet. It seems like removing the capacity for cancer to happen would fuck up reproduction.

I understand it to be a matter of looking for some chemical biological pathway to both identifying and then eliminating cancer cells and only cancer cells. 'Cancer' itself isn't even a perfectly exact thing per-se so yeah, where to drawthatline will probably (hopefully) occupy the minds of our kids kids.

Are they buying fluoride-free toothpaste for the kids or for themselves? It's irrational to fear fluoride for adult usage.

Good point. They're probably being very rational.

Lol, they say it like it's a bad thing.
Um, it is a bad thing you dumb fucking piece of shit. Cancer is a money generating industry, that's it. There is nobody in the cancer industry that's looking for an actual cure you dumb fucking waste of life. The cure has been known since the mid 1900's by the multiple Nobel Prize winning Doctor Warburg. The fact that cancer can be cured for pennies but is instead being used as a way to generate billions of dollars means that it is a bad thing that more people are profiting from it then are dying from it because a lot of fucking people are dying from it so to say that more people are profiting just goes to show how much of a fucking joke the whole medical industry is. You seriously are a fucking waste of human life.

Just stopping in to say FUCK CANCER. Last January my mom had pain in her legs and after a visit to the hospital a mass was found in her chest. Fast forward almost a year and she's had surgery to remove lung cancer and is 'cancer free'. The week of Thanksgiving she found out that she is in fact not cancer free. It had spread to her brain in two spots. Prognosis was 3-12 months and now we're hearing maybe just weeks left. She's 64.
Cancer didn't kill your mom. The surgeries/treatments did. Cancer isn't the real problem, ignorance is. But hey, let's keep throwing money at scam artist doctors even though they keep failing miserably and don't even adhere to the Hippocratic Oath that they have to swear by to become a medical professional in the first place which makes them complete frauds.

Those evil doctors profited off your misery a_skeleton_03, don't you get it?

All you needed was a pure soy based coffee enema and to smoke some pig shit in a wigwam for pennies on the dollar you'd have been cured without all that unnecessary hair loss.

There's literally nothing worse than telling a guy his dead mom's cancer didn't kill her, but the treatments to cure her cancer did.

I mean I guess Lumie could rape and eat a baby, that might be worse.

And of course, all those medical students that spent a decade plus of their lives learning their craft and working long hours for low pay through grad school and med school and all that are scam artists, but the whacko on the internet that thinks smoking pig shit cures hemophilia, he's not a scam artist, nooooooo sirree.

I swear to fulfill, to the best of my ability and judgment, this covenant:

I will respect the hard-won scientific gains of those physicians in whose steps I walk, and gladly share such knowledge as is mine with those who are to follow.

I will apply, for the benefit of the sick, all measures which are required, avoiding those twin traps of overtreatment and therapeutic nihilism.

I will remember that there is art to medicine as well as science, and that warmth, sympathy, and understanding may outweigh the surgeon's knife or the chemist's drug.

I will not be ashamed to say "I know not," nor will I fail to call in my colleagues when the skills of another are needed for a patient's recovery.

I will respect the privacy of my patients, for their problems are not disclosed to me that the world may know. Most especially must I tread with care in matters of life and death. If it is given me to save a life, all thanks. But it may also be within my power to take a life; this awesome responsibility must be faced with great humbleness and awareness of my own frailty. Above all, I must not play at God.

I will remember that I do not treat a fever chart, a cancerous growth, but a sick human being, whose illness may affect the person's family and economic stability. My responsibility includes these related problems, if I am to care adequately for the sick.

I will prevent disease whenever I can, for prevention is preferable to cure.

I will remember that I remain a member of society, with special obligations to all my fellow human beings, those sound of mind and body as well as the infirm.

If I do not violate this oath, may I enjoy life and art, respected while I live and remembered with affection thereafter. May I always act so as to preserve the finest traditions of my calling and may I long experience the joy of healing those who seek my help.

Which part of this are modern doctors in violation of, exactly, Lumie?

Lumie - I am cancer free after 6 months of chemo.
Ya grats, now you have chemo brain you fucking moron. You paid to have retards destroy your body with poison. How fucking dumb do you have to be to think that a logical way to treat a disease is to make yourself even sicker than you were to begin with? Chemo is so fucking toxic it's ridiculous. IT MAKES YOUR FUCKING HAIR FALL OUT. HOW CAN ANYONE BE THIS FUCKING DUMB TO THINK THAT SOMETHING THAT MAKES YOUR FUCKING HAIR FALL OUT IS A LOGICAL INTELLIGENT WAY TO COMBAT DISEASE.

Is that like being donkey brained?
