Please elaborate on “physics experiments” proving god. I’ll take troll bait
Beware of unearned wisdom.
Before I red pill you, AKA trigger you out of your conditioning creating a painful existential crisis, I'm going to take a step back and explain where the fuck you are right now and why this isn't a troll.
This thread is a freak show or zoo for unacceptable ideas and data. The uninitiated come here to laugh at the freaks.
Who decides what ideas and data are acceptable?
In any given data set there are data points called "outliers". Most outliers are the result of bad data collection, a mistake in the experiment, etc. But, rarely, the outlier is a genuine point of data that cannot be explained by the current model of understanding.
Therefore, investigating outliers is a tedious exercise. Most of the "rabbit holes" I explore are complete bullshit. It's usually easy to see if something is bullshit in the first few hours of exploration.
But, if you keep going you start to find shit you cannot explain. These are the genuine outliers, the "tinfoil hat" conspiracies. It's pretty easy to identify them now-a-days. All you have to look for is the "dumbest" most "insane" conspiracies around and observe the behavior of the people claiming to be trolls.
But, I'm getting ahead of myself.
In Plato's Republic, he presents the allegory of the cave.
Do not continue this conversation, unless you are prepared to see the light of the sun outside the cave and be forced to live back inside the cave unable to discuss the truth with those around you. Do not continue unless you are willing to become Lumie, mocked, ridiculed, constantly questioning your own sanity.
What I'm offering is not a gift. It is a curse of madness, pain, and truth.
Why would anyone want to live like Lumie? It's not a choice for us. We're high in Openness, high in Agreeableness. Willing to be conned, to be tricked, to be fooled, and patiently question our ways out. Willing to be wrong. Unable to stop asking questions. Willing to believe that the people we think are retarded might know something we don't, might have something we can learn from them.
When I was a kid, I was brainwashed by the Mormon church to search for "Truth", and dumb enough to believe they meant... "truth" and not "the truth of the book of mormon and our religious dogma." There's an idea at the core of science that my teachers never taught, but I innately understood. Science, by definition, is wrong because it's incomplete. If we knew everything then we could sit back, relax, and stop doing science. But we don't know everything, therefore we have to question everything we think we know. Even the very foundations of our current understanding. Not once, but constantly, until we know everything.
This was my path to where I am. It wasn't fun, and I'm not here to troll.
Beware of unearned wisdom.
