Not really sure to be honest, but it's fun either way.So Lumie is for sure not a troll, right? Verified by some posts on other forums I remember reading a while ago.
My troll-dar goes off heavy for pretty much every post of his, but the truth is he's actually this crazy?
OK, I'm serious now lumie, you have to help me. How can I tell if I was in on it? This morning when I got to work, there were police helicopters in the air and cops all over the place. 4+ hours later, they're still there and there's nothing on the news about what's going on, which can only mean that I've been backtraced from my post yesterday and they're looking for me. I need to know if I was in on 9/11 before they find me.The first time I ever ate at firehouse subs, my ticket number was 911. I remember because I made a comment and asked if all the ticket numbers were 911. Now I'm afraid I might have been in on it. Lumie, how can I tell if I was in on the 911 conspiracy? Please, you have to help me!
I can confirm, he's not a troll.
Not that I don't believe you, I do. Just has to be a special kind of crazy to be mostly normal in every day life except actually believe and peddle this shit seriously.Word. He's not a troll.
Its an actual known psychological phenomena, called True Believer Syndrome. Basically, when someone truly believes the world is going to end, or some other ridiculous thing, and evidence directly contradicting that belief is discovered, some people tend to double down and believe harder. Not that I don't believe you, I do. Just has to be a special kind of crazy to be mostly normal in every day life except actually believe and peddle this shit seriously.
You'd think after the first time or two you thought the end would happen and it doesn't it would cause you to pause and evaluate your sources. Not double and triple down.
In an article published in Skeptical Inquirer, psychologist Matthew J. Sharps and his colleagues analyze and dissect the psychology of True Believers and their behavior after the predicted apocalypse fails to happen. Using the 2012 Mayan apocalypse prophecy as example, and cited several other similar cases, Sharps contributes four psychological factors that compel these people to continue the belief (or even stronger belief) despite the conflicted reality.[8]
Like I said how 9/11 was predicted in dozens of movies and tv shows, 9/23 and the year 2015 are also predicted in the same way. I'm just providing a couple of examples.See, that post screams troll to me again. More Disney bullshit? I mean, I want to believe that Lumi actually believes this horse shit, just having a hard time.
