True that. Are you surprised with what part of the world we're dealing with?

Eh we'll see. Going to war with Russia and going to war with separatists are two different things. I'm not sure what Pres. Obama will do, but if this was indeed perpetrated by separatists then he's a pussy if we don't give involved militarily. We didnt went to war in the 80, when russian shot down the south korean plane, killing a congressman. So more sanctions to everyone but puttin!!!
It's his duty to protect American's no matter where they are in the world. So, because something happened somewhere that involved 23 Americans, but was not directed at America and didn't threaten America in any way, it is the President's obligation to throw the military into the situation?
That doesn't make sense.
Not at all confident that the Russians would see it that way. I don't see Putin allowing any sort of western military action in E. Ukraine.Going to war with Russia and going to war with separatists are two different things.
I wouldn't say he's obligated to do anything. Just that in that scenario he would be looked at as being weak. So, because something happened somewhere that involved 23 Americans, but was not directed at America and didn't threaten America in any way, it is the President's obligation to throw the military into the situation?
That doesn't make sense.
I'm sure you'll disagree with him no matter what he chooses.Obamas in a tough spot here. What are the options? Fucking war with the Russian separatists? Which would basically be war with Russia. On the other hand, he will be called a pussy if he does nothing. I don't envy him here.
COALITION OF THE WILLING 2.0I understand that the President is responsible for the citizen's safety at home and abroad, but if 23 are killed in a single strike, that means that he better be deploying troops by dinner time? I'm going to guess that the President has access to more information than the folks on ReRolled do, and I'm going to guess that he has advisers that will talk through a lot of different strategies.
And what of the other nations represented in the casualties? There were 280 or so people on board. Probably from a dozen or more nations. Should all of their Presidents, Prime Ministers, or whatever, also send in their military forces? Is everyone as duty bound to send forces as President Obama, or is President Obama more on the hook because of who he is, over which nation he presides, and people don't like him, so they're using this opportunity to bitch about how weak he is?
I'm not saying he shouldn't send forces, nor am I singing the praises of the man, but what a shit situation to be in. He can't win, no matter what.
If the 23 Americans were your family members would you still be gigantic faggot? So, because something happened somewhere that involved 23 Americans, but was not directed at America and didn't threaten America in any way, it is the President's obligation to throw the military into the situation?
That doesn't make sense.
