Ok, I'm all in. I've gone full on fanboy for this movie, changed my avatar, bought IMAX tickets for the 14th. This is THE movie I've been waiting for all these years; Superman Returns let me down, so hopefully I'm not disappointed yet again.

I realize I'm building up my expectations far too much, but fuck it. After that last trailer in particular I refuse to believe that this movie isn't going to be awesome.

I suppose if it sucks and I stop posting after opening day, you'll know that I nerdraged myself to death.

This movie looks really badass. I am pretty curious as to what the Superman origin reinterpretation is going to be. But Michael Shannon as Zod is going to be epic, end of story.

I thought someone said that it wasn't their sun blowing up or whatever like the original, but Zod conquering and/or destroying the planet that prompted them to send their son to earth. I might have totally hallucinated that, but that's what I thought I remembered reading.

Wasn't really interested in this until seeing the preview before Into Darkness. Looks gimmicky, but also looks like a good flick. Could give a fuck about the lore.

I watched that newest trailer like 5-10x today. My expectations are probably too high for this movie right now, have not been so excited about a new movie since the LoTR's. Superman II is pretty much my favorite superhero movie, and every second of that trailer shows the potential for this to top it. Please deliver.

If this movie is good I will buy a superman hat and wear it. If you knew me you'd know that such a brash and irresponsible bet is no trivial matter.
