Damn glad you guys bumped the thread, ive been in FF land so long forgot about Naruto. Badass manga and cant wait to watch EP.

sasuke will try and fail one izanagi, then he'll give his ultimate friendship eyeball gift to naruto, mirroring kakashi/tobi/rin, and of course since sakura is useless, they have to bring her in to do quick surgery, and since naruto has senju dna, he'll awaken the rinnegan and fight on par with tobi. naruto will be the fallen hero and his last wish is for the village to accept a now blind saskue back into the fray, hell he's blind anyway. sakura will spend her days mourning naruto, caring for the blind saskae and running the village as the 6th hokage (because kakashi will be stuck in other dimension forever). all the other kages will have died, except gara cuz he's already died once, and maybe the redhead, but the black guy and old man will def die. sounds too typical, but that's where it's heading.

Naruto will die and Kakashi will use the resurrection jutsu he eye-stole from the sand people. Been pimping out that theory since Gaara was resurrected by that old lady like 5 years ago.

sorry this already happened in one of those crappy ova's! you know ova's destroy everything... and once a crappy idea has been used by an ova, it'll never appear in the current comics. (like all of those funky ova only rasengans)

i "think" it was a kekkei genkai cuz everything in ova's are kekkei genkai, and naruto was near death, girl gives her life up for naruto (i think she was gonna die or redemption?)

I don't think it can really count as a retcon because nothing is really being changed. There is no alteration of facts here, just the revealing of something we didn't previously know. This all means nothing other than the reveal of how Madara actually planned to use the Juubi for his genjutsu. Now we know. It's a plot device but knowing the origin of the Sage of Six Paths / chakra itself doesn't really change anything.

Yeah it's not a retcon. There was a mysterious sage of six paths who gave everyone chakra. It's a bit dumb that nobody remembers his mom, the shinju and the fruit or whatever though, especially since the sage of six paths is only a few generations old right?

We really have no idea how close Hashirama and Madara are in relation to the Sage's two sons. It has to at least be a few hundred years IMO, which when you're in a constant state of warfare, is pretty believable that history would be lost / forgotten. The only thing that survived was a stone tablet hidden in a secret location that only a few people can read.

Because to read the entirety of it you needed the rinnegan and only Madara had that. The mangekyou also deciphered part of the tablet so those few people were [partly] in the know as well. The Uchiha elite don't seem like the type to share information with others.
