I would make it very clear that I wouldn't put up with that. If that's untenable for her, then it would be a deal breaker. I can deal with a lot of undesirable personality traits, but SJW/post-modernist/3rd wave feminism bullshit would 100% be a deal breaker. I'm working on it. It's not going to be overnight but there is promise. I showed her that article about the female Swedish hockey team striking for "equitable conditions". The article wasn't translated and "equitable conditions" is vague enough that you can't 100% be certain it's about pay. But it allowed me to segue into the US team and her first response is that they should be paid based on revenue
I sweated that decision for 5 minutes thinking it was going to be another night of arguing. But instead I was able to shit on the Women's National team AND Title IX all with her agreeing.
About the housewife bit, I don't think that's anti feminist. People who claim to be feminist may be against it, but they're charlatans. If you decide to be a housewife, that choice should be available to you, money and etc withstanding.

That kind of thing doesn't just happen one day though. A person becoming open to those kinds of ideas isn't usually just a switch that gets flipped one day when someone says something that magically changes their mind. I guess it could happen but it's comically unlikely. So if you're married to this person you've probably just ignored all the things that were leading up to that point and now pretending you're being blindsided.
Not saying that's the case here with Deathwing, he's been complaining about her slow descent for a while, but it's worthy of an eye roll when I hear other men talk that way. As if their wife/gf suddenly changed out of the blue one afternoon in April.

So we have another woman up in here that won't clean the house despite being a house-wife. Wife told me the other day, to just get used to the house being dirty because it'll never be clean.
We've had a number of productive conversations on the topic, and it came down to when I come home on Fridays, and then don't do shit all weekend in terms of cleaning up the house, doing any dishes, etc, and then Monday morning rolls around and there's all this shit, she gets pissed, and then doesn't want to do anything. So then I'm like ok, fair enough, I need to contribute more around the house on the weekend. So I do, but then it still happens, and she gets to pull the excuse that it was a busy hard week with the 3 kids.
Thing is, I'm gone all week for work. I leave Monday morning and come home Friday afternoon. She could do jack shit all week, put in an hour Friday morning, and I'd be happy because it'd be cleaned up when I come home. But no, that's too hard.
