Her. Didn't matter me at all but was a huge blow to her self-esteem. Being a mother was at the top of her list and that really fucked her up. We tried getting her hormone shots for a year when our marriage imploded. The entire process was incredibly stressful to our marriage. I was just like, "ohh well, no biggie, we'll just adopt." She was devastated.


Edit: Don't get me wrong, plenty of shit I did wrong in the marriage and should have done differently. It wasn't all her fault.

Yeah, not meaning to pry, but from you saying you pull out and you should be wearing a condom it makes it sound like the ex-wife has fertility issues, but dude if you lived with an ex before that for 5 years and never knocked her up without either of you using any kind of contraception more than likely you are infertile too. Every healthy male pre-cums by the way.

Edit - Just saw you posted, did you ever get a sperm analysis done for yourself? And you don't have to answer that, just something to consider.

Yeah, I got tested at the beginning of the hormone treatment process just to make sure. I have strong swimmers.

I dated a girl for four years in college and used pull and hope. No issues. Dated my wife for two years pull and hope. After getting married, 4 more years of pull and hope. No issues. Once it was go time and I could let the boys go, she was pregnant the first month. Needless to say, I was a little disappointed to not get a few more months of "trying".

That said, our second one 4 years later was a surprise. Might have stayed in a touch too long.

Because my wife is now beyond wanting to risk kids anymore and was recently worried that she was pregnant, and supposedly can't take birth control for some reason, and I refuse to let a doctor near my balls with a knife, she has informed me that I must start wearing condoms. What in the actual fuck?

We were just started to get to the point of considering that when it went down hill. We researched it some and our insurances wouldn't cover it so good chance we wouldn't have wanted to risk the money with some other issues that we're going on.

My wife is a nurse, but she's one of the genuine "I care" nurses I've ever met. I remember the first time one of her patients died. It was at a hospital and the woman who passed had DNR, so they weren't allowed to help her. She had trouble breathing that resulted in her dieing. My wife came home in tears that day. She's seen a lot more death since then, but she still cares about her patients. It's what also makes her a great mother.
